Be honest did Sylvanas ever really do anything wrong?

I always hear people talk about her but has she ever done anything too crazy? All things considered.

She let a bald man lie to her and force her hand in some rather tense times
did she deserve to be thrown into the maw in my opinion
no. Now Tyrande on the other hand she deserves some time in the maw because her getting clean slate and no adverse side effects to losing the night warrior power or even just being ‘cured of it by Elune’ makes zero sense and her being alive and Sylvanas thrown out of the story basically annoys me

She listened to a convict doing a really long life sentence.

I’ve known irl prison guards. Every inmate is innocent. Just ask them. The system had it in for them. So did dna, video, eye witnesses etc.

She was written wrongly.

This, if anything Sylvanas should have been the chief rebeler concerning the Jailer. Or hell try and play him, feeding information to the Horde and Alliance.

^ This.

Ya know, I wouldn’t have hated a redemption story for her. The softie in me kinda low-key wanted one to begin with.

But
not this. This wasn’t it. :frowning:

No, I can’t think of a single thing she did wrong.

Idk, I think burning down an entire city including women and children out of spite might qualify

Yes. The thing she did wrong which really annoyed me was she burnt the tree when we could have had hostages for a long time.

Then she picks fights and orders others to finish them.

She was a big dope in BfA. I liked her up til then.

If you consider lighting up Teldrassil with fire bombs as a pass in terms of war crimes, then no.

No, I am glad that the writers found a way to redeem her and fixed her by reverting her back to the former ranger general that she was before she was turned. Also, I am glad that they gave her back her real and true armor set back.

Yes, yes she did.

She went to Wendy’s and had a full Karen meltdown because they wouldn’t make a Big Mac. The nice lady at the drive thru kept telling her
“Ma’am, this is a Wendy’s” but she just wouldn’t listen.

Nah she’s fine. Haven’t had to rake leaves around the Exodar since she burned that lousy tree down. :+1:

She spent years playing the long and careful game, not wanting to put the Forsaken too much at risk because they were her insulation to a terrible fate were she to experience her final death. The Forsaken can’t replenish their numbers and every one that perishes is a permanent reduction in her ability to protect against her destiny. Hell, Forsaken are effectively dying at random too.

Then for no raisin, she becomes an expansionist and draws all the attention she spent this whole time trying to repel because “LOL We can just make more Forsaken after all. LOL”
and then “B-but the Jailer was behind it all!” A villain created entirely to try to justify this bizarre character shift. Then acts all butthurt because her enemies want to destroy her, especially Genn Greymane. Of course he’s going to be hellbent on killing you. You killed his only son! And then Blizzard had to snip his nuts because they couldn’t figure out any other way to justify his hunt not continuing to its natural conclusion.

So what was an interesting vulnerable character trying to survive knowing the awful fate that awaited her in her final death becomes a mustache twirling cartoon character.
