Hello my fellow BDK’s, I am trying to figure out if its actually feasible to rise in IO through pugs as it seems increasingly difficult to get pulled into groups due to what most would argue is our lack of utility. It seems that a majority of the time i have to pug when tanks are scarce (early morning before work) or like mid day lunch time to actually get invited to most keys now a days. Is it just practically impossible to push without a team now?
It’s very, very challenging to push without a static group, largely because of culture not necessarily how hard the content is. With a static group, you can run your 12, time it, do the 13, time it, do the 14, time it, and keep going until you have keys as high as y’all can get to. If you’re pugging, the only algorithm that really works is: time all 11s, time all 12s, time all 13s, time all 14s, etc etc. even then, it’s best to push your own key.
It’s good to network with people as you play. Then just hit them up when you’re on and group forming is easier.
