Vers or Haste for a 480 Blood DK? 10/12M w/ 2.3K IO. Idc about higher keys and Carapace dmg intake feels fine.

Supposedly vers > haste according to all the guides and the class discord. You’re playing at a higher lvl than most though, so you’ll get some random advice on forums

The other answer you’ll get is just to sim for dps since that’s all anyone cares about in BFA.
Really it depends on what you are going for. If you are fine on sustain, try getting 15-20% haste and then focus on verse and crit to increase your damage.
I’m thinking haste. More TD procs. And I think more haste = more dmg. Not really lacking on defense
I don’t have enough corruption resistance to run the 18%+ TD that I have available, but @ 43% haste unbuffed, the 6% TD I’m running is still pretty strong. Also, the spec is just way more fast paced and fun. With bone shield plus bloody runeblade (x3) up, I have over 100% haste for the duration of bloody runeblade. It’s a lot of fun.

I wouldn’t go under 30% haste but that my personal preference. Much less than that and I feel like I’m playing classic gcds. Vers is a solid stat though. If you have enough haste I would fill your open gear slots with vers% corruption.

Okay, so I found an interesting new gear combo I found in my bags. Got my haste up to 47% now, with 18% TD. Gonna see about running a mid (15ish) key to see how it performs. I logged out in the gear so hopefully my armory will update.
If you don’t care about higher keys run whatever you want, it’s only there where stacking vers really matters.
