BDK damage

I do not want to come off as pessimistic or negative, but something needs to be done here. Currently using warcraftlogs statistics for single target encounters (Nexus Princess), Blood DKs make up the most played spec in 11.0.5 with 105 mythic parses. Yet, when looking at different percentiles they are miles behind in tank damage.

75th percentile - 10k behind prot pally, 50k behind vengeance.
90th percentile - 50k behind vengeance, 60k behind prot warrior
95th percentile - 50k behind prot warrior, 50k behind brewmaster
99th percentile - 45k behind prot warrior, 60k behind vengeance, 150k behind guardian

I get that Deathbringer is the shared spec between frost and blood, but if you are going to nerf it Blood desperately needs compensation buffs to be able to hold threat comparatively to other tanks, and in m+ keystones.

Exactly. Thanks for the write up tzo. Bosses getting ripped off because your dmg is much lower than the other tanks is blatantly absurd. No reason for these nerfs, and no compensation buffs… highest bdk outlier being slightly above every other tanks average is just nonsense

Honestly Deathbriner is still better than San’layn. More consistent damage with good rotation and much better survival.

even with the recent buffs. BDK is still significantly behind prot pally in M+.

That’s just on one pull. DPS is quite close with all tank specs atm except Prot Pally, which is clearly over the top.

BDK is the only S tier tank right now for raid - it’s M+ where we’re hurting. We’re the best tank of raiding and the worst tank for M+ atm
