Even a “sorry we made a mistake, we are looking into the raised issues and trying to find a fix to them” is better than this complete silence to the issue. It’s totally unacceptable.
To reiterate, the current issues are:
- Last week’s arena points were calculated and distributed with the old formula, and we did not receive any increase in arena points that we were promised in the blue post.
- Season 3 off pieces have what appears to be wrong mark and/or honor costs. (Ex. Boots requiring 40 eots marks instead of 20, belt not having any honor discount, etc)
- Currently available tier 6 vendors do not have season 3 gear tradable with tier 6 tokens. This does not fit the term “now” that was used in the blue post as the vendor who exchanges tier 6 token for season 3 gear is in the Isle of Quel Danas Armory (presumably a gated content in phase 5).

How do you report a blue post for trolling?

please buff honor gains from bgs. som-style release pace should have increased rewards
Just any sort of update or info, please
honestly I’m fine with a “we’re looking into it” or a flat out “sorry, no extra points, you get what you get”. I’ll spend what I have and move on, no biggie. But If I spend them now and 12 hours later they suddenly do a fix I’ll have screwed myself over royally.

Ef this game man. Been farming honor for well over a month to hit cap and have a ton of marks, only to receive this treatment. Feels so good man…
At this point, it’ll cause more damage if they were to “fix costs” unless they retroactively fix everyone bought stuff from Tuesday onwards.
I just bit the bullet and preparing myself for tons of EoTS for the boots because I have a feeling the S4 stuff is gonna be arena rating locked because they don’t care about the bugs.
I don’t think I’ll be paying too much attention to Wrath if they continue this.
I say this because I actually just came back for S3 PvP for my characters after taking a break from September → January. I wasn’t aware of these issues and its just kinda depressing nowadays.
I dont think they will add any arena points due to not using the new calc, that ship sailed. I think they will fix the honor costs but it might be a day late and a dollar short. We don’t know if the s3 stuff is going to fall off the vendor. I think a lot of people will buy with the assumption they will. Because they might as a bug or intentionally and you are stuck if they remove them and you didnt buy boots yet. Then right before the reset they will announce they are fixing the cost, and they will be available in s4. But probably not give any kind of refunds.
I’m just preparing myself for the worst. It sucks but TBC is on maintenance mode like crazy.
So, can we get any kind of communication as to whether or not the updated arena point calculation points will be applied to the final week of S3? Because I would like to purchase items, but I can’t really do that until I know exactly how many points I will have.

Caveat: not a blizzard employee.
There’s no way they are going to do a one-off maintenance or adjust every single players arena points gain for the final week. The amount of work to do something like this would be staggering.
No need for a maitnence. Arena points get pushed during weekly resets.
This isn’t that hard to fix in reality, hell, just give everyone a blanket set of extra AP’s if its that hard.
They did just that in SoM after it took them 2 weeks to notice they messed up the RP calc.
