Lot of stuff we can complain about Blizzard doing, but them greedily raising sub prices isn’t one of them (at least in the U.S.).

1 2x4 piece of wood cost more than the last 3 wow expansions combined, we good.

You really haven’t been paying attention if you think BC Deluxe is just the start.

For the paltry sum of a single paycheck, I’ve enjoyed 17 years worth of WoW. Not sure if I’d even notice a sub hike

I’m pretty sure the Collector/Deluxe editions have always been priced similarly to the TBC deluxe edition…

So in the future, the x-pack prices will stay the same? I’m down

You think the new expansion is going to be the same price? Ok

You are the one that said:

I just agreed with you…and pointed out that it has always been around the same price

I love seeing these… People saying Blizzard is being greedy. OK then, don’t buy it. If they see people aren’t spending their money on it, they will try other stuff in the future, but you know what? People will buy into this stuff because they want it and if they don’t get it, they will feel like they are missing out on something.

It’s going to be more is all I’m saying. The BC digital deluxe is nothing much. Blizz put next to nothing effort into it.

It’s crazy what they’re asking for. The price is not justified.

Even Blizz knows it and don’t care.

People have been making these slippery slope arguments since the sparkle pony went on sale, but the doom and gloom just hasn’t materialized.

Interesting.

So, they charged the same price they have always charged and you somehow see that as a sign that they will suddenly start charging more in the future.

That argument makes no sense

$40 bucks? Sounds like you are paying how much you would normally pay for an expansion back then.

EDIT. I was wrong it was like 70 bucks. I do agree that is a bit much, but then again, you are getting 2 mounts which are generally 25 bucks each on the shop, a boost which I think is $40.00 as it is and 30 day game time which is 15.00.

So almost over $100 worth of stuff for $70. You are saving 30 bucks. I still agree it is high, but when you look at the value of how much each one would have cost separately, you are getting a decent deal.

If you don’t think it’s justified, then don’t buy it. Greed has nothing to do with this, just business being business.

Blizzard knows what it’s products are worth and sell them accordingly. They’re a business, making money is what businesses do.

They should be increased given almost 20 years and we haven’t seen an increase that I can ever recall.

I will. Don’t worry about what I spend my money on. Many of us have disposable income and don’t mind spending money on a hobby.

What effort did Blizz put into any of it? Next to nothing.

It’s not a new expansion with new content. It’s next to nothing items with no effort put in by Blizz. Paying $70 dollars for a no effort digital items is crazy.
