I am just going to say this once, you need to bring the agent application for Battle.net under control or i will report it to Apple as a virus. You do not have the right to consume every resource on a Mac and still be considered a benevolent application.
Howdy!
This sounds like multiple versions of the Agent.app are either stuck open or a resource is stuck. I recommend trying the following steps to fix this:
- Clear the battle.net cache files following the steps Here, under the Mac tab.
- Restart the PC to help ensure all processes related to Battle.net are reset and retest with the newly generated cache files.
Thank you.
I get the analogy. Battle.net is trying to do too much as how the old iTunes became.
It feels much more bloated than other game launchers, save for Steam. Whereas Steam, while a big mess, does not hog resources as Battle.net and Agent does.

I recommend blizzard gets rid of the app and let’s us install games on our computers like normal
Or give us the option. the battle net app has and always will be nothing but advertisement disguised as a waste of time. Remember when we used to open games by clicking on them and they opened right away?
