I have checked all the boxes and such but each time I restart the launcher it is as if I were installing fresh, I have to enter my credentials, I have to select Classic WOW each time; I do not have or ever had retail on this machine; and I have to select Classic Era each time. all settings I set when the agent is active.
Plus the agent portion of the launcher has a memory leak which requires me to restart the launcher, it will be using less than 25mb of memory but later will be well over a gig and it never stops increasing.
I will say this again since you apparently did not get the memo the first time in the last thread you posted in:
If you leave it open and it crashes due to a memory leak, it won’t save anything. You know, pretty much like how all games and apps work if they crash before reaching either an autosave point or confirming your choices. You have control over the memory leak: set the app to close itself when launching a game. It shouldn’t be left open. Period.
Close or exit? there are two choices.
So I chose exit on launch - guess what, it saved NOTHING.
WHEN DID I SAY IT CRASHES? I SAID I HAVE TO EXIT THE LAUNCHER SO THAT I CAN HAVE THE MEMORY BACK.
So take your attitude and CHECK IT. Learn to read and learn to not insert words you were thinking before you read the issue completely.
Choosing CLOSE does nothing but hide the launcher.
