tried to launch wow and the launcher is just an invisible box on my desktop I went to task manager to close it and relaunched it, but it does the same thing it looks like it does the log in screen fine but is just a blank space after that. just tried restarting my pc launched wow again and this time same thing is happening but the icon for bnet is orange now on the taskbar.

i had that yesterday and i clicked accept for it. resizing the blank box makes it solid black and if i click the upper right corner of the blank box it will close it so itās some sort of display issue maybe ?
Ohā¦ As well as a Add for the Discover Classic game.
just tried the ctrl shift click on the icon from the taskbar to run as administrator someone in discord told me to try and that did not work either same blank screen. full shut down and restart of my pc did not fix the it
tried to click the area where the play button would be nothing happens tried clicking all over the box nothing happens only spot that seems to work is the top right corner that closes it
is there a way to even play the game with the launcher broken like this I literally canāt play any blizzard game because the launcher wont load?

wow that worked i clicked properties open file location clicked the retail folder clicked wow run as administrator and it launched the game, Iām finally in thx a bunch man being able to skip the launcher is the best thing ever. it often doesnāt even launch the game for 5 + minutes sometimes.

I think they are working on the battle.net launcher todayā¦ Even the Beta of Battle.net had a update today.
yeah, hopefully itās just an updater issue and it gets fixed eventually. sent in a ticket with info they asked for maybe that will get a reply in the next few days.
Got the same thing. And when I click into wow all the realms say āIncompatibleā under population, even with running wow.exe as admin. Canāt get in game and the repair and updated checks are greyed out.
Well you must run the updater then.
At the bottom of this forum is a link to Battle.net desktop app.
Redownload the appā¦
Run the fresh download as Admin and then restart your computer. This should pick up the update you need.

Only restarting my PC fixed it. The entire app seemed locked up before, and Iāve run into that issue before. I feel like battle.net doesnāt update things like it should sometimes. The ToS thing was new though.

Just tried re-installing the Bnet app and run as administrator with a restart. Still cant login, keeps asking me to accept the new ToS which I agree to, then it prompts ālogin session has expiredā. Cannot get into the game at all at the momentā¦ wtf

Yesterday I received an email saying that the mobile authenticator will be rolled into the new battle.net app. So I installed the new app, set it up, and then finally was able to login to wow and play last night.
Today I started the battle.net app on my PC and I get the Terms of Service message so I click ok, and it loops to the login. I login, and it gives me an Authentication error. This loops over and over and over again. So I canāt play.
Restarted my computer, started the bnet launcher, got an authentication noticed, OKād it on my phone, typed in my password on the PC and the looping error continues.

Didnāt work for me 
It required me to Authentic - which is usually automatic, but I had to type it in manually. Then the message came up about the end user terms - againā¦but to the circle of failure
