Anyone else experiencing extreme slow Initializing in Battle.net today, Nov. 7th ?
The initializing zipped along quite fast until it reached around 250 MB of 442 MB, then it bogged down to a crawl.
It’s taken 30+ minutes to download another 30 MB, from 250 to 280MB. At this rate it’s going to take hours and hours to complete the download.
I’ve never seen it go this slow.
Anyone else having this problem?
Yes, sorta. Mine’s been stuck at initializing for the better part of the day. How did you make out? Did the download finish?
Yes. The blue Play button on Battle.net became active, so I hit Play.
The super-slow initializing disappeared, and changed to green text with Content Loaded message.
Separately, I had problems with an all black Character screen this morning, but that also seems to be resolved, and I have entered the game.
It’s been slow for me for months now. Usually what I do is pause/unpause. And if that doesn’t work, I go to task manger, “end task” any Bnet processes including the updater.
Then open Bnet again. That usually gets it started for me.

Same… is there an update for this? Mine has been like this for weeks now.
