Since the latest update, I have to type in my email and password every time. Not game breaking, but mightily annoying.

Make sure the launcher is being run as administrator. Make sure that setting has not changed

That’s not going to help with this. The option to save your login has been completely removed. I uninstalled and cleared all the data folders and reinstalled the app. Even on the “login” page there is no box anymore to save the data. In the App or on the login page if you go into settings there is no option to save your login… only to clear it which is funny because it’s no longer being saved.

It’s still there, I even logged out and and see the button for it is still ticked for me.

correct there is no setting to save the login info anymore, but if you are not worried about anyone logging in on your system, you can check the keep me logged in box. and it will just by pass the login screen all together and go start to the launch screen.

what version of the app are you using? mine shows 2.49.0.15846 and the save login is gone as well.

Yes that’s the version I have. This was working when I was playing yesterday. At some point today I had to use my security app to login and then I noticed all the options to save login were gone. There is no “keep me logged in” box on my app… it’s not a big deal I guess, but it’s annoying to have to use my phone every time I log in. It already forces you to authenticate if you log in else where and nobody else has access to my machine so it seems pointless to have removed it.

there is a checkbox to keep you logged in and you can change the setting to not ask for the code unless it is a different location.
also now it seems you and use a passkey or have a code sent to your email.
Well there is no check box on mine… where there was one is blank. I’ve looked through every part of the battle.net app and I see nothing. Which is why earlier in case it was a corrupt file I did a uninstall/clean reinstall. That area still has no option or check box to stay logged in.

I’m having similar issue with the BNet Launcher. There is a box to click “keep me logged in” and I check it every time, but multiple times a day it makes me type in user and password again. I’ve check account security and there are no other logins from other areas.

I normally login with google or gmail whatever that option is. So when the Bnet App would come up and you have options on the bottom to log in with… that screen had NO “keep me logged in” option. There is no option in settings that is visible either (there previously was two different options there. one was to save the information and the other was to keep me logged in).
If you enter the email instead and click login when the password box comes up there is a box to “keep me logged in”. So you have to actually know your password if this happens to you.
Now it’s keeping me logged in, but the options in the app are still gone that were previously there.

There was an update to the Launcher this morning. Make sure you’ve updated. Best option is to completely log out of Bnet, Restart your computer, and then restart the app.

I would direct all of you to post in the launcher forum rather than piling up in here. Data is not collected from this forum, so they won’t know that this is an issue if it’s not being reported properly.

I’ve updated to the latest version and yet this is still happening to me. I did post in the Desktop App Tech Support too, so a thread is started there.

yesterday app was working fine. today i open it and im presented with a totally new GUI and it made me retype everything in. I even checked “keep me logged in”. App then decides to quit itself, reopening it again later and it completely acts like it doesn’t remember any of the last settings.

So prior to yesterday… I only had to “login again” after many months. There seemed to be some kind of (many month) time frame where it would make you re-authenticate. Then when I first signed in yesterday the app had changed and I had all these posts in this thread. The app then seemed to work as normal until I logged off for the day.
This morning I got up early and went to play and I had been logged out of the app. This is really getting annoying…
