As the title says, the Battle.net app just refuses to open. I launch it and no interface ever appears, but I do see “Battle.net.exe” in Task Manager. I’ve tried all the usual things like:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
- Making sure Secondary Logon is enabled and functioning.
- Running Battle.net as administrator.
- Making sure there are no security apps interfering with it (I don’t run anything other than what comes with Windows).
I’m running on a mostly fresh installation of Windows 10 22H2 with all updates. Drivers for all hardware is up to date. System specs are:
- Intel Core I9-12900KF CPU
- 64GB DDR5 RAM
- NVidia RTX 2080Ti (522.25 WHQL driver installed)
- 4TB NVME storage (2x Samsung 980 Pro 2TB)
I can launch and run WoW directly with no problems, it’s just the Battle.net app that refuses to behave. I also don’t know if it matters or not, but I do have a Samsung Odyssey G9 49" ultrawide display running at 5120x1440, so I don’t know if the app has an issue with this or not.
Would be super cool to have some sort of debug flag so I can actually see the Battle.net app logs and find out more about why the user interface doesn’t actually appear anymore as this is getting to be a tiresome issue. Most apps tend to open an interface when you start them, Blizzard. ![]()
I have already tried everything here, so please don’t reply with the same things I’ve already tried: https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/16441#:~:text=Update%20or%20temporarily%20uninstall%20any,may%20resolve%20rare%20launcher%20issues.
