I think you have to git gud or reroll.
How funny if everyone rerolled every time any little trouble popped up. The starter zones would never get a break. (They rarely get one as is)
Can I have your stuff?
Looks like you gave up and went horde to me.
You seem to have failed to realize that if the battlegrounds didn’t start because there’s not enough Alliance players joining you would then have longer wait times for Alliance to pvp too.
I wanted to view the world from another prospective since I did all the alliance side of things. The Horde side paints a very interesting picture of the war and the undead are just downright shady AF
Lmao, you take the game WAY to serious. I feel sorry for you.
I’ve wondered if a resign/forfeit button(s) would be unreasonable. There are matches where an opposing team just wants to farm kills or deliberately makes the match last longer for a chance to win.
I’ve done a lot of pre-made AVs as alliance, and I’ve dropped a lot of queues. Last night I tried running some PUg AVs, because I was watching the Niners on my screen I usually have for discord.
It was horrible. I think alliance premades might actually be the BEST thing for horde in AV. I never thought about what the queue dropping we do in premades does to others that are not running premades. I did probably 15 matches without the premade, and I ran into 0 alliance premades along the way. I lost 14 of the 15 AVs, and our average starting numbers had to be somewhere around 12-15. I actually had an AV that had the gates open to a 40 v 4… yes 4 alliance were in the AV when the gates lifted.
I’m not sure how many premades the horde runs into, but it’s essentially an auto win for horde when they run into PUGs, which are still very prevalent.
Once the game was over I went back into discord and entered some premade AVs and went 10-0 before logging out for the night. When running premades probably 50-60% of the queues I get into are dropped and turn into PUGs, so I’d imagine that really helps the horde since it’s almost an auto win.
They launch when they invite 40 people on each side. What do you want them to do, invite everyone and then cancel the whole thing after waiting two minutes for people to click enter?
If you want to fix the problem properly, just give people the deserter debuff if they don’t accept a bg invite. This would solve a number of problematic behaviors.
Queue dodging screws over other members of that faction. Why should horde have to wait even longer for a game to start because a premade bailed?
@Dhalgren 4 ally against 40 horde is not a game. 30v40 I can see this argument, but less than half at the beginning?
there needs to be a cooldown after dropping a queue that your fed back into the same BG if you re-queue or a more responsive system that invites new players quicker.
Premade AV is bad for both factions.
You obviously did not read my entire post. This has nothing to do with what patch of AV they used for Classic. Although I would have liked a more previous patch.
The problem is I am unable to get into a single AV with any of my Horde friends. That was not a problem in vanilla. Sometimes I would miss the queue with them but most of the time when we queue together we would get the same AV.
I seem to distinctly remember seeing the message in various BGs over the years “Not enough players. Bg will end in 4 mins…” etc etc
Did that not happen in Vanilla?
It depends on when they dropped out.
Easrly and queue should still run with waiting people dropping in to it, if BG launches and they Hide, or they drop out as the queue is going into the launch, then sadly it makes a big void.
But at that point, it is too late to roll it back into the queue again.
Just like the majority of pvp players rolled horde resulting in 30+ min queues, AV games starting without a full roster is a community driven problem. Blame your faction for queue dodging and abusing insta queues.
