Hey guys, I am just curious how the queue times are for battlegrounds at level 60?? Asking more specifically about during mid week.
I just recently hit level 30 and it seems to me that ALL content is more populated at 60. As of now I cannot get a single battleground to pop, just to break up the monotony of questing. Additionally, I have in the past used PvP exclusively to gear up. Would this still be viable and competitive at 60, or should I try to focus on raids?
Any advice is appreciated!
I assume you’re referring to Classic Era. Queue times for Alterac Valley are usually no more than a few minutes last I checked. Unfortunately the new PvP system has shifted the meta to pretty much all AV so WSG and AB will be a long wait if you’re able to get in at all. So if you want to do battlegrounds for PvP, which is what they’re supposed to be for, good luck.
Yes, I was referring specifically to Classic Era.

I might have to hop into Retail if nothing more than getting my fix for PvP…… 
Yeah it’s quite unfortunate. I’m hoping one day we’ll start seeing more WSG and AB, but it seems the vast majority of people doing battlegrounds are just trying to grind rank. A prime example of why people are and should be so rigid about #nochanges. Blizzard doesn’t know what they’re doing and people asking for changes know even less.

its depends on which server. i am on Whitemane and all 3 are short que times. the new PVP honor and gear are a grind but i like the system.
I took a break around the time that the first honor rework came out, got up to 7 on this hunter and have back come recently to find that, so far (about a week) the only BGs I’ve seen are Arathi and WSG as being active, AV thus far has not popped for me.
I think AV weekend is due to start next so hopefully more people will get in the queue.
Are you getting these to pop during the week? If so, may ask around what time Server time?
every week it changes, they are anytime during the week or day.
one BG out of the 3 always has more maps being played.
right now its AV, last week was AB.
the other 2 ques are better at US west prime time.
WSG does pop, it depends on the week but often on weeknights there is at least 1 game available to join.
During WSG weekends there are quite a few games.
I would say it worth making a pvp toon just on the fact that Era is static. So even if you only play a few times per week, take a couple months break, etc. you can always come back and your toon is ready to queue up and play.
