I would keep merc mode disguises just to guard against players of whichever side ends up the minority in a team getting picked on, but yes, mix teams. This will result in both factions having equal queue times and will equally distribute undergeared alts between teams (vs how things are now where Alliance gets a lot of undergeared horde queuing for fast games).
I could quote the title of this thread and that is exactly my experience in this game. If it wasn’t for my interest in pvp, I would have taken a lot more breaks over the years.
I’ll bookmark this thread incase they start pulling this.
It ended with Merc mode.
Completely agree. I would love to see a solo queue. Solo Shuffle eventually becoming rated is a step in the right direction. Hope they apply the same philosophy to BG’s.
People want to log in and have fun, battlegrounds were a big part of that, what’s changed?
It is true that WoW in the past has had some of the best mmo pvp of all time. Just look up the countless MoP frag videos and stuff like that on every class on youtube.
Hopefully with their change to the talent system revamping classes they can start getting back to great gameplay and away from whatever they been thinking lately.
It still does show me something better than AV
Epic battlegrounds suck even if classes are good. AV has an og factor. I liked it enough in the old versions of the game.
Still annoyed that they removed SOTA I have the Legacy for the master of it or maybe it is a FoS. And Deepwind Goerge. Also got same for that and it was removed and replaced.
Need new cool BGs with vehicles that are fun to play and not super grindy.
Or if they made classes good again we could play strand again surely even.
Ikr. But BGs get a faction of the development of other parts of this game. It really makes me wonder why they just seem intent on neglecting something that use to retain so many players. It’s like they are throwing away money.
Remove addons in PvP and the game will be more enjoyable. We’ll see who the best players really are
Current AV is trash. Give us back all day AV fights!
If yall watch that video I linked for this guy playing MoP WW. Dude is a complete Titan taking on like 4 players at once you can just see how the game was so much more in depth and allowed for so much more meaningful gameplay but they have been slowly pruning this gameplay with every expansion since WoD and they need to do some serious looking back and retrace their steps and get back to this style of potential unlimited growth inside ones ability to play the game.
But you also see if hes going up against another good player its a closer 1v1. Thats what made MoP so legendary.
Ummmm, no thanks on this part…
Call me crazy, I’m pretty sure I grabbed my Ice Barbed Spear back in 2006 or 07
Random Battlegrounds are certainly my favorite part of WoW. They don’t even have to come out with new battlegrounds and I’m satisfied (so long as equal ilvl conquest gear removes advantages from the equation). The variables are ever changing by always playing with different individuals on your team, facing off against new opponents, and always having different classes and specs on both your team and the opponent’s team every match.
Doesn’t matter if I play Warsong Gulch one-thousand times, it is always FRESH.
AV launched in summer of 05. Less than a year after launch.
For me it was the best part of WoW. Almost honor level 600, but hardly done any in SL.
Tuning is the worst its ever been, borrowed powers are the worst they ever been. The crazy burst meta where you die in a global or 2. The honor farming that makes glads farm casual bg’s. The insane ilvl difference between casual and hardcore players while still forcing hardcore players into casual pvp.
Was in a good rbg community s1, almost got me to 2.2k, but they all stopped playing the game. Beginning of s1 there was at any time of day/night 15+ players online, by the end of s1 everyone stopped playing the game.
