So I’ve been busy farming before the official release of Cataclysm. And my guild was discussing in gchat how battleground queues were non-existent. I know I had a friend who tried to queue unsuccessfully, but as a disclaimer I haven’t tried.
I read a blue post from Kaixax {spelling?} that they were discussion same faction battlegrounds in Jun '21… It was a closed thread or I would have bumped it. I know people that want to do PvP in Cataclysm.
Alliance BG queues are no more than 20 seconds, free faction changes is how OG Blizzard handled this.
The only time BG queues have been non-existant for me is pre-level cap. Once your at 80 BG queues are usually between 30-60 seconds for alliance.
Also, same faction BGs are in the game already.
BG q’s are very fast right now - at least as Alliance. Way faster than even retail.
Not sure how it is on Horde. Afaik Horde’s pvp population is a lot smaller on US servers. Logic would say that Horde’s qs should be even faster but not sure.
Alliance is fast especially when it’s ally vs ally which sucks cuz them Bene Boys ™ still be premading, I usually just mess around and troll till we lose in that case.
You’ve been obsessed with this server a long time. I decided to come check it out while I was farming my battleground veteran achievements (since we both know the Ally dominate the wins 70% of the time). There aren’t as many premades as we thought there are, it’s just where most of the pvpers are to begin with. I was in multiple WSG matches where it was all 10 of us from ben but asking around not a single person knew each other in those ones. If it’s not ben it’s Pagle.
Wut? I just rolled this server Mr Random Pally, and I have never once mentioned it in my Classic talk, so what-ever…
I’m not sure why it wasn’t a reply to the correct person, I see that guy post the bene boys thing everywhere related to pvp. Comment was @ him.
