I noticed that ive been getting alot of error spam from the addon in my chat when I’m in RBGs saying “error: code not found” and stuff like that. Then it also started telling me “new version is available”. i went to update it cuz i was sick of the error message spam and found out that the addon hasn’t been updated since the middle of 2021. I heard some rumors that they stopped managing it. It’s definitely not up to date with the recent 9.2 patch. If it turns out that they arent going to update it anymore, does anyone have any alternative addons that we can use?
The default method will be to open the scoreboard “little green eyeball” and click the “Healing Done” tab. That will show who is doing the most healing in the battlegrounds. Typically in nearly every scenario, the ones with the highest healing will be the healers.
Thank me later when the rating tied to gear continues to kill off the remaining casuals and the remaining PvP player base; leaving none of the developers to update the addons. Chances are, those developers were lovers of casual play - clap real hard for having booted them out of the game…
I could update it for y’all, but I don’t and can’t play Random Battlegrounds anymore ever since WoD ended and PvP conquest gear lost equal ilvl - Therefore, I’m not updating an addon for something I don’t play, because I was forced out.

Battleground enemies seems to have been abandoned.
does that show trinket cooldowns?
Doesn’t show up when I search on Curseforge.
Just shows the original from 2011.

what’s an alternative add-on that shows on the interface who your opponents are, their class, and health? At the start of the game I want to see how many rogues and healers there are and throughout the game I want to see what classes are taking damage and how many at once, anything currently out there that shows that like BGE did?
The default interface already show you this.
So it seems like the error message spam is coming from the new trinkets.
I looked up one of the spell ids on wowhead, and it was one of the new trinkets.
Wish I knew how to code, to add in these new spellids.
Any code nerds think they could fix this?
I looked around in the files, but couldn’t find where Trinket Spell ID was, and even if I did find it, I’m not sure on how to add in 2-3 new Spell IDs.
BGE in RBGs will spam lua errors if you have any of the RBG notifications toggled on. Open the menu for BGE, select the “rated” tab and uncheck every box. That fixed my issues.
As far as the update message, no clue, but it doesnt cause lua errors, so it’s no biggie.

this is so annoying. i just deleted it. I don’t do rbgs for anything but the quest and quick honor / capping anymore anyway so no big deal. Was a great addon but the constant spamming “crowd_control error:345453454555” is too much

Apparently someone has taken an interest and fixed it. It has done 2 auto-updates since yesterday morning on CurseForge app.

yeah use battleground targets, switched to it quite a while ago when battleground enemies started having problems
