Battlefield Map Not Showing - ElvUI

Hello.

I’m returning to the game after ten years hiatus, and I’m trying to get my UI set up. I have ElvUI downloaded, and that has caused an issue with a map. I haven’t ever used this “Zone Map” but my friends say you have to have it. When I bind to Shift+M and press, nothing happens. When I type /BattlefieldMapFrame:Show, I get the following:

Thanks for the response. That enters as a command, but does not produce any result. The map doesn’t come up. No change to UI.

OP, did you ever figure this out? Also running Elvui and cannot get the zone map to pop up.

Try this. 10chars

Shift+M Map disappeared

Shift-M
/run BattlefieldMapOptions.locked = false BattlefieldMapTab:ClearAllPoints() BattlefieldMapTab:SetPoint("CENTER", UIParent) BattlefieldMapTab:OnDragStop()
(Shift-M again if you can’t see the map)

Then click the map and use the tab to drag the map where you want it.

Right click the tab and lock it.

You’ll have more luck reporting the bug on the ElvUI Discord than asking here whether or not someone has already solved it.

After trying a bunch of other stuff, this worked for me. Have elvui and battlemap works on some characters but not all.

I used to have a macro saved with the script for fixing the problem of the battlemap not showing 100% of the time; but it’s gone and I can’t seem to figure it out, now. Works on all my older toons, just not my new one.

The above solutions have produced nothing.

EDIT: Only three minutes after posting this comment, it appeared when I moused over it in the center of the screen. o.O
So, weird. If you run the above solutions and it doesn’t appear, mouse around and maybe do something, just to see if it suddenly appears, then move it to where you want it.
