I’ve been out of WoW for 5 years and just recently returned with Shadowlands.
I couldn’t battle any Battle Pet Tamers (Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms). I had no battle pet quests in my quest logs (Alliance and Horde characters). Quest givers Julia (Alliance) and Varzok (Horde) did not have any quests available to accept. I had to create a new character and then go to Julia in order to see and accept the Battle Pet Quests.

This is almost the exact same thing happening to me. I’m also not able to receive Pet Battle achievement rewards anymore, either… and capturing pets in-battle no longer works. Do I really have to make a whole new character?!

Same issue here. I have a new character on a separate account, no issues. Brought back an old account, can’t do any pet trainer quests. Seriously frustrating because I brought back this old character mainly for the pets I had on this account. Help please!

I have the same issue. I did the Audrey Burnhep quest where I need to go back to Stormwind and talk to her, but not seeing the next quest ‘Julia, The Pet Tamer’. I have no other characters other then this one.
I found this bug as well while recording some pet tutorials on a new account for my youtube channel (MissBunnieBell if you want to see where i found the quest giver for tamers) After wandering around and trying everything i could find. I found two things. First if you start in the new Leveling area MAKE SURE you finish all the quests. Dont just fart off as soon as you get to stormwind. Finish the questline. Also if you don’t see the starting quest in Stormwind go to goldshire. I found the quest to start tamer battles hidden behind the armory building. (I am awful with discriptions but as i said it is in my pet video on youtube if you need to see where the quest guy is)

I did already find that guy and did the battle/catching quests that he gave, but still cant challenge Julia. I am pretty sure I completed all of the quests at the starting area too. So I am at a loss

me too. and Blizzard makes it impossible to report a problem directly to them. Ive had it with their lack of support
Did you guys try to change your timeline? That’s what helped me with the same issue

This Works! Thank you! I was ready to pull my hair out!
- Create a second character
- Use second character to change timeline
- Accept quest from Audry Burnhep
- Log in with first Character go and see Julia Stevens!
