Well snap. Mine is greyed out as well. It says “revoked”. WTF?
Please put in a ticket too Blizzard about it…
Did you bug report it or GM ticket?
Bug report will work just list which pet is revoked…
Ok, done.
I’m just asking this because I’m not sure, but is flooding support with tickets really the best course of action here? I’m not sure how pilling on tickets that can’t be resolved currently (I’m assuming there is no current way to reset the pet or it would already have been done) would in any way help the support team. They would have to spend time replying to these to get to ones they could actually help.
I feel like submitting an in-game bug report or posting in the ongoing threads and chiming in would help get this resolved just the same, without potentially slowing down help for others?
Regardless, mine also says revoked. I’m sure a dev is working on a resolution and will hopefully be quick fix.
We are showing Blizzard we want our pet back and working like it should…the more tickets that hit them will show how wide spread it is and not just a few players having the issue now.
Maybe it finally grew up
But customer support can’t help return our pets nor can they fix the problem themselves. Submitting a ticket and having to wait for customer support to compile info for dev team just wastes everyone’s time especially since it’s an average of 24hrs to even get seen. Submitting an in game bug reports actually sends the problem to someone who can help without bogging the system down for others. Just my take on it anyway. I wouldn’t submit a ticket for a known bug unless required to to get a resolution after it’s been solved.
LOL too funny…but sadly it hasn’t and we want our pet back.
I told them to send in game bug and many are doing that now.
I have like 4 billion pets, I have no idea what I own or not.
Luckily there’s a search function then if you wanted to check.
Yeh but if a pet is greyed out, like you never collected it in the first place, how are you supposed to know if you ever collected it to begin with?
Thankfully in this instance the pet isn’t greyed out, it’s still there showing as revoked, that’s different, it shows I once had it, but no longer do.
The thing is this pet belongs to the WoD collectors edition, which I 100% never brought, I never even played WoD, I took a break after MoP and came back for Legion so I have no idea how I even got this pet to begin with and chances are many other people got this pet in error.
Good chance I got this pet when I purchased the WoD collectors edition mount only, which is not how this pet was obtained, so revoking it is acceptable to me.
At one time they pet could be sold on the AH that was stopped not sure when …and WoD collectors ed would have the pet too and the mount.
Yes but if you never brought the collectors edition, like myself, and they stopped the pet being sold like every other collector’s edition pet, than it makes complete sense why they are revoking this pet.
What they should be doing on top of this is that anyone who did not by the collector’s edition game, but have sold their pet, should get it back and the AH sale should be reverted. Reverting the AH transaction might be a little difficult, but giving the pet back to those who own the collector’s edition should not be hard to do.
The selling the on the AH was only for a short time before it was changed…and you stated above you brought the collectors ed didn’t you?
I never said I brought the collector’s edition.
You could buy the pet from in the in-game store at one point. Not sure if it was tired only to a bundle, but you could purchase the digital goods in a bundle. I bought it for the mount specifically but also got the pet since it was included. They did a few different bundles of old collectors edition stuffs.
You stated right here that you did…the pet comes with that collectors ed too.
