Am i doing something wrong or the stupid spider is bugged? cause im wheres its supposed to be, the idol is reacting to it, but its simple not there.

That stupid idol is never reliable. It sent me on a wild goose chase in the middle of Tanaris, when the NPC I was actually meant to be directed towards was in the opposite direction. Ever since then, I just go to the coords off wowhead and move on.

I always use video guides, I can’t be bothered with that idol thing, only use for it is if I am literally blind and im already close to it but cant see it, if the item doesn’t sparkle.

Same, if i run back up the road towards shrine i will see the jumping spider phase in at its spawn point, along with other people. But when i run back down the road towards it the spider and everyone else phases out.
Speaking of pets, i wish they had a Pet Mania like the Mount Mania event, would have been a lot of fun for the collectors

There is a specific spider that needs to sparkle and you don’t battle it.
The goat will have obnoxious jerkish people griefing by piling on toys and mounts.

I actually managed to solve it, apparently it was some phasing issue cause i surprisingly hadnt done the quest where the Jade Serpent statue gets destroyed, wasnt until then that the bloody pet appeared.
Also Blizz, why? not all people have done Pandaria, specially new players, so having people go on this cryptid quests only to be stopped by a completely unrelated quest due to a phasing issue isnt fun.

You had a phasing issue, fair.
But I did it yesterday on an alt that never entered pandaria, so it’s not the statue, but I guess doing that removef whatever issue it was
This should me moved into the bug section for people to see his solution if they come into the same issue.
I made a thread for it as well, and many have reported the same problem.
Seems like the quest wasnt the cause though, so who the hell knows.

As long as you are in the right spot in Pandaria, and the spider is laying there twinkling, you should be able to interact with it.
I was in the right spot, the spider simply wasnt there.
