Hi Blizzard yes, but can we please have some sort of skip for the raid to go to the last few bosses like in other raids?
Asking because my guild wants to farm everyone the mount and probably eventually sell it and we don’t have a reason to do earlier bosses.
Plus I’m sure people would appreciate a skip in the future to farm the mount themselves.

Everyone wants it, but they won’t add it.
Have fun reclearing the entire raid each week in 8.2 when the new raid is out to get everyone the mount (everyone who worked hard on Jaina does deserve the mount imo) when the new raid is out.
Just add in some Pandaren Lorewalker NPCs that you can talk to at the beginning of the instance that will send you to the section of the raid you wanna do.
Like heck idk, loot 4 things from Rastakhan to skip to Opulence-Rastakhan and then loot 4 pieces of a diary off Jaina to skip to Mekkatorque-Jaina.
You’re being told the story anyways, might as well get told sooner.

Other raids let you skip bosses to get to the last boss? Every raid I’ve ever done requires all other bosses to be downed first.
Can someone point me to the skip right to black hand? Blast furnace takes sooooo much time >.> It would speed up getting the black hand.
After you kill Iron Maidens, there’s a hidden storage area with an NPC that gives you a quest that unlocks the Blackhand skip. Turn on “trivial quests” on your minimap thing.
True, I think that everything can be melted in about an hour to an hour and a half with essences and 8.2 gear.
we haven’t had skips at all this expansion.

No, there’s actually a skip for Blackhand. I can’t remember the quest name, but I did it when it was current on my priest. I was told you can still do it by other people.

Were you absent for the entirety of last expansion and the one before?
You get 3 sigils from killing Blast Furnace, Iron Maiden, Kromog three times each and it unlocks a stone you can click near the bridge to the Blackhand elevator that unlocks the door without having to kill any bosses.

In this span only Highmaul and ToV (3 bosses) did not have skips. Both Uldir and BoD have ideal places where skips could be implemented that would fit into the flow of the raid. I would be perfectly happy with a skip to Mekkatorque.
Bring an alt you don’t care about sometime and use that to give groups the mekkatorque lockout. Do the actual kill on another toon.

Exactly as Vivikaide wrote above.
Our tank had an alt that was also a tank, that saved the lockout for Mekkatorque so that the guild raid could farm N Mekkatorque for the mount before we continued with our Heroic progress. It made for a weekly chance at it dropping before progression!
As for Jaina? Since the mount only drops from Mythic Jaina, you’ll have to down her then save that lockout to do the same as above to farm it! But as it’s the toughest difficulty, i’ll wish you luck!
