I’ll be playing for few mins or maybe tops 20mins and keeps disconnecting from battlenet then kicks me from wow. I check everything on my side and my internet is fine and my WoW is showing no lag or low frame rate?
Still sounds like a connection issue the internet could be dropping out, Just had a issue with spectrum where we would loose out internet for a few seconds a few times a hour, Was not noticeable until we tried to game .
Can you post a winMTR please
- Download WinMTR
- Extract the contents of the .zip file to your desktop.
- Open the WinMTR folder, then open the folder that matches your version of Windows (32-bit or 64-bit) and run WinMTR.exe.
- Enter the IP address you want to test in the Host field. Select a game from the dropdown below for a list of IP addresses.
5.Note: If multiple IPs are listed, run a WinMTR test for each IP address.* - Click Start, then launch the game you’re testing. If no connection issue is found in the first 5 minutes, restart the test.
- When a connection error occurs, play for at least 5 more minutes, then click Stop in WinMTR.
- Click “Export Text” and save the .txt file to your desktop. Name this file WinMTR.
- post the above file on pastebin and post link here
I’m having the same issue. Very annoying. Has only been since phase 2 of SoD was released.
Same issue as of yesterday, internet is fine, random disconnects. Another odd point is that my issue began after my sub ran out and i resubscribed.
having the same problem rn i got dced randomly then battle net just stop working, couldnt log in either in wow or battle net app, but everything else and my internet work fine
^ Same. I thought it was WoW, but no, I’ve been logged off of WoW for awhile now and my battlenet app keeps disconnecting and reconnecting every 20 - 30 mins or so (pretty random, tbh).
This started after today’s maintenance.
There is no internet problem. I’m literally on Discord voice with people while it happens. If there was a blip it’d be noticeable there. Voice coms are clear and crisp with no lag whatsoever when this happens. So I really don’t think my internet is the problem.
And since this is happening to so many others, I’m going to take a shot in the dark that it’s something on Blizzard’s end.
Being able to connect perfectly to the discord servers has nothing to do with being able to connect perfectly to the battle net app. The routing to the two servers are completely different even if they’re only miles apart the routing could be drastically different. It is possible that all the people having the issue or on the same internet provider as over the years the number of different internet providers in the United States has dwindled
I’ll never understand why player insist on having other apps or .exe open while playing wow or other games for that matter… Even Blizzard suggest that you should close all Nonaccentual apps/exe while playing their games. My first thought is that if I’m having an issue with an app etc I would close everything and load just the app just to see if this isolates the issue. if the app loads fine, then chances are you’re getting interference from other apps or exe your attempting to run at the same time. I’ve never had the desire to run anything other than what is required to play wow.
A lot of us want to talk to our friends out loud while we’re playing. They may live across the country or world.
