Battle for Gilneas

Is it me or does Alliance beat the horde to the WW every time? What changed in that battleground? Seem to remember getting to the flag pretty much even, now the Horde is so much slower… most times the horde is stuck in the river crossing just before the flags and at that point it is over. What changed?

Oh… and yeah, it pretty much blows.

Horde marching up to Hangar to meet their maker.

You just have to make sure you have ranged on your team going over there. The difference is negligible really.

In months past I would tend to agree, but seriously in the last month or two seems like the horde is much further behind. Not sure if you play a horde toon on the side if you do, watch for it.

Drop a ring in the water then root everybody on their side of the river.

I am exclusively Alliance. I may or may not get to the flag first but there are usually at least Horde ranged on the banks trying to stop us from capping. Perhaps things have changed recently? I admit I usually do epics.

Alliance do get there faster, but unless they utilize roots and slows it doesn’t matter.

I always go around the back way from mines so that I can stop them from capping. There’s also a house you can walk inside to drop your battle standard. ez 15% extra health for teamfight.

RNG is RNG.

With a lot of teamwork, Alliance can cap it without a whole lot of counterplay, but it rarely seems to come together. I’d still rather be able to fly across WSG and TP with the flag.

no. both teams get to the water crossing at the same time if horde go the “normal” route. its faster through the shortcut but people are stupid.

It’s funny because most randoms I do, there might be one Horde player that actually does that. Why don’t the rest of them? Nobody knows…nobody knows…

Shaman must bind/spam that waterwalking, DK also need to be on point in these water moat maps. Those seconds really count.

its an engineered mystery for the ages
