Battle for Galnassss

Just another reason to faction change to the horde… A bg that if the horde get water works, its an automatic loss if the alliance is similarly geared.

Horde will claim its not true, but an 82 percent win rate on the wowhead stats says different.

Did you know that… Alliance can do exactly the same with WW?

No?

Lol… ok.

Can I switch to my alliance alt and claim its not true?

One big difference I see between the Alliance and the Horde players in Battle for Gilneas is that Horde defend the flags better and don’t get kited away from the flag as easily as the Alliance.

Horde also seem to be better at ninja’ing the flags than Alliance.

Most of the time, it’s a case of the Alliance playing the Honour kill hero.

Its further away… like by a long shot… but we can pretend it isnt… the horde is closer by a long shot and can see on the top of the mountain which way the alliance is coming from… We can pretend there isnt an advantage for the horde tho… If it was AV youd cry and blizzard would fix it just like they did.

Yeah mate, that’s why Alliance always reachs it faster than Horde.

Raises hand I’m usually the idiot that stays behind and then crosses her fingers hoping my team will listen when I call the inc.

I had a BfG happen not to long ago that was a complete stomp.

Horde rushed the WW, lost the team fight, and they never recovered. Ended up with them pushed back to the docks getting farmed.

You can win, you just have to outplay your enemy.

B-but… the stats in wowhead!

(Since when Wowhead has stats anyway?)

BfG isa ctually lopsided for the Horde yeah as alliance have to to move down and sideways then around the building while the horde have clear view of WW and an easier time reinforcing it. Also the horde can prepare better from above LH.

Is not such a well designed BG.

99 of each 100 alliance are hunters…

Yeah, this is the sort of take I’d expect from you.

I’ve had some surprisingly good random BG’s lately.

Had a 3 to 0 WSG where out flag carrier never died once. The trick was that people paid attention, focused healers, and didn’t wander off on idiotic duels.

Alliance actually reaches Waterworks faster than Horde can get there…if you take the correct route. The smart players (you know who you are ) will trap the Horde in the river with good crowd control while someone from Ally quickly caps the flag before we can interrupt said cap. Of course this requires being in sync with your teammates.

Yeah, this is the sort of take I’d expect from you.

Expected from horde… you boost a nearly 70 percent win rate on that bg… must all be bad alliance you play… extremely lucky for you i guess since its an “alliance map” in your mind.

Typical and expected

Both factions arrive in time to stop the other side from capping WW.

The good Horde don’t enter via river. :upside_down_face:

To get to ww, yes they do. I know the tactic he is talking about because it’s caused me to lose before. Alliance 100% get there faster than horde and have a quicker route if you know what you’re doing. Alliance also try for mines a lot and that usually fails. When alliance knows what they’re doing, a rogue or ice mage or something will cc horde as they are swimming across the river while the rest of the alliance team secure the flag at ww and press the horde back to the mines. At this point all that needs to be done is good defending and alliance wins.

That’s why you don’t cross the river and glider in the back way instead.

The advantage is not about the initial parting point. But how the horde can recover more quickly if they die at the WW. Dying takes alliance all the way back to LH so alliance has to run all that track to stop the horde with the curves and moving around the construction while horde actually gets closer with mines and is just running ahead.

I never said it’s an alliance map, that was your assumption, I just said that Alliance always reaches WW faster, but that’s often because Horde wastes time in the water.

Just like those non existant stats you keep brinbging up…
