War mode is nice, but the only reason to use use it is leveling and maaaaaybe for rep. I see no new bg’s no pvp warfronts no upgraded Alterac Valley so that we actually have to play it instead of the brain dead zerg. Incursions are not pvp, they are reused legion invasions. Only thing that enables pvp is IF the other faction just wants to pk/troll people. We need to have some dev time for pvp, if blizzard needs to beg to daddy activision so be it. But this is just sad…
Battle for Azeroth is a storyline of Horde and Alliance and saving the planet. Not a gameplay style of player vs player.
They spent a lot of time on pvp systems in the last few years, and looks like they will be spending even more on giving the older content a facelift in coming patches.
Really, if you compare PVP in BFA to BFA in WoD, almost nothing is similar other than the PLACES we battle.
Sure, they could have added new ones or even dramatically changed old ones, but what’s the point?
The more BGs you add the more spread out your strategies end up, and the idea of changing bgs that have operated the same way for a decade doesn’t seem like something most people would be in favor of.
For the record, I LOVE the small changes they made to AV, and even though I’ve never really been into BGs since Classic, doing AV especially on a Blood DK has been the most fun I’ve had in PVP in a LONG time.
Right, also this. hah!
I’m afraid to run around any zones flagged. Draneor content which I’m trying to finish I’m outnumbered 5 to 1. Every town or village i run into for quest turn in looks like an orange fest.
When I first played this game 11 years ago all the adults played Horde.
Now im back and it seems like there’s alot of adults on the Alliance side. I’m not sure I’ll ever roll Horde again.
I just want them to put PvP Vendors back in and I will be one damn satisfied customer.
I agree, the small changes are nice. But whats the drive? Poopy gear we get randomly through grinding? Av has had some changes but zerging is still the go to method because the npc’s have almost no weight. Where is gear for PvP players, PvE seems the only way to get amazing gear. I just feel that PvP could add more community driven content with a tiny bit of development.
PVP gives gear substantially faster and substantially stronger for the effort… if you are skilled.
If not, then PVE will be your go-to for sure.
Not seeing that happening in AV, so I’ll have to take your word for it.
