I’m gonna check it out eventually. I noticed some folks pointing out its referencing the 90s batman shows in some shots so thats fun.

I might check it out, but the only thing I have really seen mentioned is that the Penguin is a woman now for whatever reason.
Also, Kevin Conroy is the only true animated Batman.

Conroy is the gold standard to which all other animated Batman… Batmen? will be held to. There is no moving on.
while yes he was but i disagree. we will have a string of people voicing bats for various lengths of time before someday finding the new voice of bats
that sound guy was a riot to watch
For me, there are some roles that are defined by the people who play them. They may be recast, but whoever steps into their shoes will still be held up against the ones who came before.
To me Kevin Conroy is the voice of the animated Batman, but even before he passed other people took on that role. I still compare them all against Kevin’s work. One day there may be someone who does a better job, but he will never be the OG.
It was nice that Conroy got one last run as Batman in the Crisis on Infinite Earths animated film.

I watched it, I don’t understand why we had to gender switch the Penguin and race some of the characters? It was good in my opinion but nothing can beat TAS.
It’s different everything can’t be the same all the time it’s gets boring.
Yes tas is great but stop comparing everything to it and you will have a better time.
I wonder if the Robins are gonna happen. Dick then Tim or if they’re gonna make barb don the cowl as Batgirl or woman as his first sidekick. Also her training that might be fun to watch

I am bit more traditionist and I know there internet folks out there are screaming their head out “Its woke! its woke!” Its not really bad, it dose raise some eyebrow for me but it was fine overall.
I mean NOTHING can beat that. Great cast, great story, great soundtrack and great animation.
we did see the Robins for that Natalia night episode I think Batgirl will come if there’s a next season.
we knew thatThe Joker is coming next season. I am bit curious to see what else villains they can dish out.

Her killing one of her children just to intimidate the other one though was WILD. She’s great. Altho I’m not too thrilled at how kinda lazy her name is. Oswald to Oswalda. But that’s a mild nitpick from me

The TV Shows always change something about the Rogues Gallery:
The Animated Series made Poison Ivy an Echo Terrorist when originally she was a petty thief, made Mr. Freeze a petty thief into a Husband trying to save his wife, etc.
The Batman made Mr. Freeze return to being a Petty Thief who got lucky to be made into a Metahuman who generates Ice. Basically an upgraded version of his original comics self before The Animated Series caused the comics to retcon his origins and motives.
The Movie made Penguin a Mutant thrown into a Sewer and Catwoman into a deranged lunatic.
