I’m sorry if these are dumb questions, but I don’t know anything about the guild system. If you join a guild do you always play with them? Or, can you play solo from time to time as well? If that guild isn’t working out, can you drop out of a guild with no problem? Do you have to have a voice chat app to be in a guild? There are a million terms I don’t know on this game. Do guilds have people that can help explain some of the game terms/objectives, etc.? For example, I still don’t understand the Mythic+ system. (I realize that’s pretty dumb.) Thanks for the help.
Hello Breunig. I have been playing for 14 years and welcome! If you join a guild you can absolutely still play solo. Think of a guild as a group of friends. You don’t have to do everything with them. You can always leave a guild by / gquit (no space) anytime. Some guilds do require voice chat but for the most part, it is only required during raids/mythics/dungens or just a cool place to hang out. Allymental has it right Breunig. There is a wide range of expectations from different guilds. Everything from the laid back social/leveling guilds to the hardcore people that want to push Cutting Edge (CE) and being the first to complete raids.
