For those of you concerned about hitting renown 12 with Loamm and having barter bricks lose value - you can safely hit renwon 12 and simply not turn in the quest keeping your stockpile of barter bricks until you purchase the items you need.
Im at 47 bricks, only need 80 total for the timeshare bit then will turn in quest to start recieving boulders - renown 20 allows you to buy them for dragon isles supplies so you cna buy the hat!

Or you can just wait until renown 20 and buy boulders with dragon isles supplies, 1 boulder is 100 supplies.

The vendor only takees boulders AFTER you turn in the quest.

Bricks/boulders are used to purchase the bop item needed for some profession patterns and once you hand in the quest you can only purchase the item with boulders and the conversion rate for vricks > boulders is 3-1, yet the cost is only halved.
