Bartender help needed

I recently switched to Bartender from Move Anything since Move Anything is no longer being updated. I just created a Demon Hunter and copied a working BT configuration from another character. On all my characters the shift+wheel up/down only cycles through bar 1 and 2. On this new character the shift+ up/down cycles through all the bars. I only want it to cycle through bars 1 and 2. I have looked at the game key bindings but don’t see a difference between the settings across characters. What am I missing?

Shake four times before you pour. Any less, it’s not mixed properly and any more, you are just show boating.

I’m not sure what you’re trying to ask. However on the mini map the bartender icon should be there you can right click to get into settings.

I am trying to configure the bar switching to work only between bars 1 and 2 and not all the bars. I’m not even sure this is a Bartender issue. The state configuration tab for bar 1 is enabled and ActionBar Paging is checked. The description for that action is: "Enable bar switching based on the action bar controls provided by the game. See Blizzard key Bindings for assignments - Usually Shift-Mouse Wheel and Shift+1 - Shift+6. I don’t see that type of setting though.

If it works on some characters but not others, maybe change the profile used for Bartender in the Bartender options dialog box.

When you open the Bartender options dialog box on the character whose hotbars are not working like you want them to, there’s a section called Profiles on the left side of the dialog box (2nd from the bottom).

When you select Profiles, there’s a menu to select an existing profile.

Select the profile of one of the characters where Bartender works like you want it to. I use this toon’s profile for most of my toons so that I don’t have to set up Bartender for every new alt that I make.

Seconding Tacothebell. This is what I do to and it works like a charm. If you’ve got one profile working how you want it, just use that profile for everyone. It’s gonna make your life much simpler.
