The Barnacle-Encrusted Chest on Siren Isle is supposed to contain Salt-Stained Sweatcap, but when I looted it, it was empty (and disappeared).
Edit: It respawned after a while, but was still empty for me.

This also happened to me but the chest did not re-spawn. I put in a support ticket and got the reply " After our initial investigation, we have not found any known issues of this kind. However, we will report this situation to the game design team for review and confirmation." Hopefully they can resolve this because I would like this cosmetic lol
Same thing is happening for me with the Ashvane Issued Workboots in the storehouse (under the platform) in Ghoststone Diggings.
I also had this issue of the barnacle chest being empty.

Issue: Attempting to loot the underwater chest in Siren Isle results in a flicker of the loot window, but nothing is looted and the chest despawns. It will respawn after awhile, but further attempts have no change in outcome.
Notes: I’ve seen a suggestion from a Wowhead comment that looting the Ashvane Issued Workboots cosmetic could affect looting the Salt-Stained Workcap cosmetic, but this has not been the case for myself and others. (I don’t even have the boots.)
