As much as Im personally bored by bard on XIV, I have to admit the concept is great and the song playing part is awesome. I simply dont enjoy them in combat.

Except in FFXIV where you can play songs(uses real life musical notes, they explicitly tell you your on your own if you upload a song and get sued) and have awesome bands of people making great music in hang out zones! It totally changes the mood of it all.

Because all they do is sing and play music and it’s supposed to heal people, do damage, and the like but does like nothing most the time or because they’d most likely be another leather class when we really don’t need another leather only class atm?

With augvokers now they are infact possible. They wouldn’t make sense in normal holy trinity wow, but now we have dps-buffer.
try playing stuff like hotline miami or Doom eternal with music turned off. It’s not the same, music can make you stronger and give you the rhythm.
