Tinker doesnt interest me, I think our engineering proff can adequately handle all of that. But Bard could be fun. Using music and musical instruments as magic is a neat idea.
I can’t play guitar in real life because of my stiff fingers from arthritis. I would love to do so in game.
Also, an explosive class sounds awesome too. I mean, they can dump a MOAB as a spender!
Only if we get hunting horn as Bards xDD

Yeah but it would be a good way to improve Engineering. Now we have two useless specialisations (Gnome and Goblin). Lets do away with those and create a couple of new ones. How about Artillery Specialist, Rocketmaster or Tinker. Engineers could pick one or two specialties and there would be specific items they could make for themselves to use; I wouldnt even mind if they were BoP because it would add a lot of flavour to the profession. Need not be a huge number of things, just some fun items.

There are two kinds of bards, one would be fun, the other would be balance breaking.

Healing and buffing while debuffing the enemy during downtimes.
Yikes lol, I’d have to make 20 new characters instead of just 10 for one new class, I’m up for the challenge though!

Oh, I’m just a healer? Too bad this healer just broke that monster’s armor…Oh whats that you want buffs? But I’m just a wittow healew oh noes!
It could probably be the most unique dps class created for sometime.
In PvP, it could play music to put the target to sleep. In fights, it would play discordant music to cause damage or loud music to deafen and hurt, and so on. And what would be fun is if two bards in a party could form a duet and harmonise to create new musics or increase particular abilities.
That would be excellent for raids.
A bard in each group! Lol
Do we as the other players need to hear this music on top of the in game music or would it just be like sound effects and graphics like for current spells.
I still want a boom boom class. A goblin with a cigarette in his mouth lighting up dynamite and lobbing grenades just seems so cool.

I think players would hear something, as players now see visual effects of spells. But just as you can adapt lighting effects and so on, you would probably be able to reduce the sounds if you wanted to. I think it could be fun if you actually heard the spells although if they start playing Metallica I hit the Down Volume switch.

I would prefer visuals only from the bard class. People who listen to their own music don’t want supplements from others.
