I think they introduce things like this during lull periods of the game. With Dual Spec added there is no argument that it’s old Classic. We opened pandora’s box, it’s too late to close it now.

if people are really that concerned, they can put a week cd on changing your appearance so you can keep your “character agency”

We all know that paid 58 boost is coming with TBC. Just boost a new hunter then, if barbershop never happens.

Honestly the lid is blown far off of #nochanges at this point.
It’s not even worth complaining about. Debuff limit gone, dual-spec in the game, group finder tool…at this point barbershop is like the least possible Classic immersion-breaking feature.

are you really immersed in classic with your ultra-wide, 244hz, modern graphics engine, retail options menu and incubus?

Not sure what you mean by that, as we’re a year away from TBC launch. But if you dont want to pay for a 58 boost, then hope barbershop gets added in TBC i guess. Really your only option other than reroll.

blizzard is aware of all those hundreds of players buying mage’s boosts from ~10 to 58, seeing how those players create characters and just buy summon to dungeons and spam boosts through various dungeons will surely make blizzard add shop boost for tbc.
also if blizzard is monitoring all those gold buyers then they will add token at later point.
