Alchemists/tailors/leatherworkers creating dyes to dye your armor?

Now that makes sense as you can colorize your armor as you craft it.

Right? A lot of dyes already exist in the game, you just can’t use them on your existing armor. I don’t think more customization is ever a bad thing in an RPG.

While there are definitely some posts on the forums that show some people expect SoD to cater towards Retail, I’d be curious where this expectation is coming from.

When asked,

Josh says, “Yeah, to add to that too, Season of Discovery, due to the seasonal nature of it; it’s a really great opportunity for us to take kind of a lot of risks and wild chances on things, and so… Also, to kind of ask what if questions, like ‘What if you could heal as a mage?’ or ‘What if you could tank as a rogue or warlock?’ And these are all super interesting twists on the class fantasy that we sort of know and love about original World of Warcraft. And it gives you a new way to approach… a new lens through which to view the original Warcraft world.”

“How does a new player experience Season of Discovery? Is it different than WoW Classic?”

"It’ll be much the same as original World of Warcraft, when you first create your character. You know, you’ll kind of load into the game world in say Northshire Abbey, if you’re a human. You’ll go kill wolves, kill a few kobolds. When you hit level 2, pretty much right away, you’re going to get your first quest to discover your first rune ability. And that’s the first taste of discovery in Season of Discovery.

So, you complete that quest, you get that ability, and these are usually really impactful rune abilities. But, after that, the game doesn’t really tell you what to do. It just kind of says, ‘Go find more.’

And that’s really what Season of Discovery’s all about; is going out and rediscovering the original World of Warcraft world."

Just to name a few things that aren’t rune related

No debuff limit, boon, debuff timers, mounting with noggenfogger elixirs, wrong character models “human legs are clipping while running in a way they aren’t on the vanilla client”

None of those things effect classic. Also you could mount with noggenfogger in vanilla. Had a lock in my raid back then who would use noggenfogger to become little and run in circles in his mount doing the /train emote.

Either way its like yall take the TINIEST of changes and expect blizzard to do more. We know these tiny changes are happening. I didnt want even them. We still hold the line and so far blizzard hasnt crossed it with SoD.

Why are you playing SoD if you don’t like the changes that came with it? Absolutely blows my mind but proves my personal suspicion that the people crying about suggestions are just people who want to play regular Classic. Either go play on the Era servers or ask Blizzard for fresh classic servers.

Also the changes in SoD are technically alter the classic formula much more than the barbershop or transmog ever could. They’re literally roleplay features.

Problem is, the barbershop is dumb and worrying about a virtual haircut is also dumb. I don’t care if they put the barbershop in, but I just wanted to drop in and let everyone know that it’s dumb. That’s really all I wanted to say.

We knew that going into SoD. I still dont want all that other crap. How long are we gonna continue this? You can’t change my opinion and I can’t change yours so why is this still a thing?

While I certainly can understand preserving the feel of Classic, why are people so either passively aggressive or just flat out angry when someone suggest something as simple as a barber shop? How invasive is haircut and shave to the classic experience? Legitimately curious
