Banwave just happened

Don’t exploit and you won’t be banned, it’s simple, if there is something that doesn’t seem right, if there is something happening that looks like you are gaining an advantage even if it’s not, just don’t do it.

The ex-Blizzard employee Thor recently released a video talking about this, in that if you exploit something a few times they probably won’t care, but if you do something enough and gain enough of an advantage you will be banned and once you are banned your account is watched forever. Any future exploits will likely result in a longer and longer ban until you are perma banned.

As for those “We didn’t exploit, we only share an account”, yeh it depends who you share an account with. A parent and ONE child can share an account, it’s in the ToS, but anyone else sharing accounts that should be an automatic perma ban.

These people (world first raiders) have been playing non stop since early access was released, they deserve a 4 day vacation.

Ive never seen a 4 day Ban implemented before, only 1-3-7-14-30-180 days. I feel like this was done for big raiders who can still compete in the race to world first. Blizzard missed a chance to send a message.

I’m not tech savvy so I doubt I have much to worry about

Wow hottake and it smells like raw sewage. What people and how people decide to spend their free time is non of your concern. Thinking people should be banned simply because they spend copious amounts of time in game is ridicules way of thinking.

Imagine supporting the cheaters.

Has nothing to do with cheaters the wording you chose to use was entirely different don’t warp what I said.

You don’t believe world first raiders have been playing non stop since the games release to get ready for the competition? Lol what.

And playing none stop is not cheating thats an entire different issue then the exploit. Your take specifically was complaining about how much free time people dedicated to the game.

You responded to my post about the world first raiders playing nonstop and this thread is clearly talking about them cheating lol

Context doesn’t matter. Blizzard is not strict enough on most department that affect the game. The social contract is one thing but there’s bunch of loops and reports hardly do anything. Renown exploiting doesn’t matter, 4 days ban is nothing when people already have reached renown 21. A reset button would be more effective than words and spank on the wrist.

World first raiders multiboxed and cheated to get max renown rank for the powerful items in order to get them an unfair advantage over their competition for the upcoming world first race.

Oh. Always amazes me how people find these things. Welp good.

I think we saw a few back in BfA with the exp potion stacking that you bought with the Warfront Medals which allowed you to level to make in like an hour or two (man did times change where we can do that in MoP remix).

I got hit with a 3 day ban from consuming 2 at the same time because I had a stack of 20 and an extra one it its own stack giving me 2 :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m still salty at Blizz for that but I got them back because I canceled my sub shortly after for a full patch to play FFXIV, then came back until Shadowlands when I took a year off until DF.

But ya, Blizzard is going to ban people who go WAY out of their way for exploits like the case for the reputation exploit. This isn’t like the Remix Frog Farm where it wasn’t an exploit.

It’s not hard tbh, the pre-order this time let people into the beta but most the time these World first people get into the testing phases super early and they find these cheats and keep them to themselves until release then exploit them.
