Oh, please. Like mages need this ability. Remove the usage in instance PvP to stop trolling. No one should be against this. It wouldn’t negatively affect anyone.

You don’t need a lot of the things you have now either but we also don’t need any more streamlining to the game.
Stop clicking on portals.
Stop putting portals over food, lock rocks, and mage tables. Oh, that’s right, people are trolling. Mages don’t need access to portals in instance PvP. Get over it.

I think you might wanna get over it, not me. Anyways, this is dumb to go back and forth over something like this, especially when the portals aren’t going anywhere. Have a good evening, I’m going to level my mage in Korrack’s Revenge.
I’m advocating for the change because people are tools, and it wouldn’t negatively impact anyone. To argue against it…well, I can only be baffled.

you absolutely can.
someone says “report all mages afk”, and if a bunch of reports all hit at the same time, they’re instantly ported out… no cow debuff, no chance to get into combat to clear it… just insta-booted.

Like people are clicking on them on PURPOSE to give themselves a 15 minute debuff, are you even paying attention?
Some people have limited play time, so even to the small amount of people that accidentally click it, it’s detrimental to their experience and Mages do NOT have a need to open a portal in a battleground, NO need AT all.
So yeah, what you’re saying is UTTERLY ridiculous.

You’ll have to learn the teleport to the crater (Scarlet Halls) before the vendor in Northrend Dalaran will sell you the portal spell. She also sells some other cool stuff like Polymorph: black cat and the illusion spell as well.
