Banned for "hacks"

I and many other people have recently been banned for “hacks” on the new 20th Anniversary Classic Servers. From i’ve gathered the only thing in common between these bans have been the accounts in question being online for MULTIPLE hours at a time, i’m talking 20+ hour play sessions. Multiple reddit posts have been made of others having the exact same issue. I have played other classic launches and patch drops for the same amount of hours but have never had this happen before. Blizzard please fix your game

Botters gonna bot,

I don’t even want,

None of the above

I want to play with you…

I really hope you’re one of the people that’s hanging out on level 2’s in Eastern Plaguelands that I’ve been reporting.

Is it a suspension or a ban, and is it only for the anniversary realms, all of Classic, all of WoW or BNet?

You play wow 20 hrs at a time ?

Yes a lot of players that arent hacking are getting banned due to bad software that cant recognize player from bot.

Account closure, i have multiple accounts under the same Bnet and only that one was perma banned

Oh wow, that’s a pretty big deal.

Saving grace, I guess, but sucks if you’re just playing legit. Hopefully a review can get that overturned.

Bump. This needs more attention. Two of my account was closed and many have been affected from spellcleaving in dungeons. Lets see what the appeal ticket says tomorrow

Not true, I knew a guy in my SoM guild who owned a bunch of real estate and just played wow all day. He was older and his kids were in school. His wife kinda just did her own thing too.

Stop defending Blizzard.

False positives HAPPEN ALL THE TIME.

Lol near 0% chance anyone gets banned for being online for 20 hours.

Mention all your major activities 2-3 days prior to nan n we can talk.

Or players abusing the report feature just because someone is playing a class that is known to be used by bots just playing normally…

They dont review or read any information on your account or in the ticket you create. If they did they wouldn’t do what they did to me over a week mute that was caused by mass reported over a guild name that isnt against ToS.

Their replies in my ticket from 2 real GM’s have been nothing but evasive and doubling down on me staying muted ingame without giving me exact proof as to why. Was it the guild name? Was it the F yous I said to haters in whispers? Was it me talking in LFG a bit? It could be anything.

CS needs a change.

Why should anyone mention anything to you? You’re just some guy on the internet that knows no more than anyone else. Your disbelief is not a prerequisite for reality.

i got banned for thing

i totally didnt do thing i promise!

its blizzards fault! They made me do thing! Theyre bad! Stop paying attention to me and forget i did thing, Blizzard bad!

i had to do thing because i work 87 hours a day! Im sorry youre broke and cant afford to /arent smart enough to do thing like i did thing haha

doing thing makes me an inherently superior person to the people who dont do thing. I believe this to the point that i actively intend to game ruin for the people who dont do thing and then gloat about it!

we should all do thing to punish blizz for punishing me for doing thing! Thatd make kt socially accepted to do thing and then that makes blizzard the bad guy for punishing me for doing thing!

More and more i am convinced i live in a simulation and these are bots running on repeat.

Not knowing can be frustrating. It’s also quite possible that many things that are violations go unreported and unreviewed, so it appears that they are OK.

What are their names?
