Had few people in my guild banned randomly all for exploiting is the claim and blizzard has yet to reach out back to them its 4 main guildies 2 are officers why are we banned blizzard can we get some reasoning? and for those who say they did something bad theyre not toxic, they dont buy gold, 2 of the 4 just raid log we just cant figure out what they did wrong i guess ALOT of people are getting banned jesus
Editing now the response we got right now is gdkp ban XD we only raid guildie wise and dont trade gold so blizzard ive seen trade filling with people being banned
false bans happen tell them to appeal it and they should get unbanned
is the appeal just a ticket or a different thing to fill out?

Yup me too. And I honestly have no clue what this suspension is for. It says “exploitation of game mechanics”, which I have no idea what they’re referring to.

I mean, I’m all for policing this game. But it would be nice if they actually described what was the offense… so you know, we don’t do it again unknowingly?

We got it on Anniversary, not SoD. I’m guessing a big ban wave went out today.
I hoenstly have absolutely no clue what it could be for. The only thing I could think of is solo’ing DME jump runs? Is that really against ToS though? But that doesn’t make sense because nearly everyone in our guild got it too and none of them solo DME.
I’m honestly stumped. Anyway, I appealed. But I doubt I’ll hear back.
Meanwhile bots are probably still running rampant totally out in the open and Blizz doesn’t care. What a clown show.

I just got banned for “exploiting” as well and that is literally the only thing I could think of. You think they’d make a post warning that it’s not intentional and any further use of this will be bannable, not just smoke us for a week
but thats the thing they werent doing it for gold we were leveling guildies alts, and people who didnt do it got banned and i did it never got banned it doesnt make sense
yeah, I have some mates who I absolutely know don’t do shady business. They played the market, bought arcane crystals when they were 4-5g…things like that.
HOWEVER - they do have one thing in common, we do death rolls and hi/lo games through out raids to keep things spicy, and one of them lost a 2k bet and had to pay out?
Seems reddit blowing up on this it’s cringe blizzard can’t do their job right 
they better compensate those they banned

ok - so another thing that may cause it, they have been in pugs and even our raids where they sold a piece of loot when someone pinged them to make an offer =/ haha, guess that counts as gdkp

All your friends can do is appeal via a ticket.
We see so many times they were in fact rightly banned in the Customer Support forum when they proclaim they were falsely banned when a blue SFA comes in.
False bans do happen however they are very rare.

They can appeal if they believe they were banned in error; I wouldn’t put it past Blizzard, but also your guildies could just lie to you. Over the years of playing Classic I had plenty of guildies who did stuff they weren’t supposed to be doing.

I saw this happen in real time and I got it too …banned … wtf.
I went the proper routs. Email to appeal. Exploiting …huh?..then a reply gdkp … slight issue I’m anti-gdkp (we don’t have gold sellers spamming and bots non stop non stop in sod.)
Several more slight issues I only shared in my appeal. Overturned ban.
Nothing wrong with appealing a ban. I am 100% certain the ban was automated but the appel process is not. The person who gets your appeal did not do this to you,
