Im sure VAC will reverse the bans if its legit an AMD bug. Nothing to see here
It may be too late for some people though. The Apex Legends forums is full of people mentioning submitting ban appeals and getting auto denied. 
Warden might see it too and there might be a false positive wave in WoW unless the GSO team sees this news.
That’s just the first stage. Once humans look at it, common sense prevails. They aren’t going to throw away paying customers when it’s clear no cheating was intended.
Actually wasn’t there a post on r/wow like 2 days ago of people saying they were permabanned for cheating?
Probably as a bulk action they’ll reverse. Individual appeals always get denied for good reason. Too many people talk out their butt and think they can social engineer customer support.

Sadly this PSA is warranted, due to the incompetence in GPU driver development this time.
AMD actually messed up pretty hard. Their latest driver’s anti-lag functionality is triggering not just VAC but EAC as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if Blizzard Warden has flagged people now. Hence warning people here to be careful with WoW as well.
I have an Nvidia GPU so I’m not worried, but I can imagine the Blizzard GSO team dealing with a 7 figure pile of flagged accounts they need to sort through this week.
There are always posts on r/wow about being permabanned for cheating. Most have to do with actual WoW cheats people were using. Like that auto cast one last week or so.
Not sure if any of them had to do with this AMD incident, but I haven’t searched to see.
