I agree with Hothwompa. If you as a player cannot physically scan the combat log instantly for all abilities, racials, talents, and equipment then type responses to one or multiple individuals sharing the content then I don’t think the mod should either. I’m especially opposed to everyone in the zone being told theres an opposing faction character in stealth when said character has done nothing to be revealed.
Spy doesn’t report where YOU are so how are YOU testing an addon that other players are required to have? Wouldn’t THEY be testing it since they would be the ones using it?
You really have no idea how it actually works and what it actually does do you retail? It doesn’t share location, it doesn’t make people hone in on you. It doesn’t do anything that the sound of your stealth spell or unstealthed name plate doesn’t already.
You might as well argue to ban nameplates, which are built into the game, and work through obstacles, buildings, and prevent players from hiding.

I see they still haven’t helped you dude. They locked the last one because they couldn’t handle me throwing their staff under the bus. Blah blah blah “working as intended.” Any game that allows griefing at the level you’re experiencing should just give up. I don’t care how many times you say it, that’s not how pvp worlds are intended to function. Any online game will do things to handle griefers but Blizzard thinks taking a stand on their tiny hill proves something.

Can you explain how it’s unhealthy to seek out those who thought it was fun to corpse camp a lower level cause they ‘could’ and return the favor in a video game? Perhaps it will make them less likely to do it more if they themselves are unable to play for an hour or two because of their past actions. I find it fun hunting them down when actually able to fight back and ponder what must be going through their mind when they are running back to their corpse for the 10nth time tryin to farm mats for raid pots. They might even begin to regret their past actions.
The length you go to to plan revenge is what’s unhealthy. You’re holding onto negativity for so long.
No, see, I don’t have to “hold onto it”. The addon does that for me. I can’t even remember any of the names, because I don’t dwell on it or them, I just know when the addon goes “ding” a dirt bag is about to die, repeatedly.
I don’t know why you necroed this thread but yes putting someone on a KOS list (through the add on) when they gank you as a lowbie with an intent to kill them later is part of the PVP server experience. I would go as far as to say that almost everyone who levels on a PVP server has a hit list… now as for if most follow-through with hunting these people down that’s debatable but this is very normal and not unhealthy at all in my opinion. It’s part of the PVP server experience and a person can like that or not but this is part of it.

You folks keep making a mountain, out of a mole hill, regarding mods… It won’t be long, until blizzard / activision has a limit on how many mods you can use with their game. Likely 5 and / or, under.

If I will get an HK for killing you, I will. If you are ganking my faction members, you just became a target. If I get camped by a player, I will add him to my KoS list for future retribution.
