Ban multiboxing

fair yes, but the majority of people and at least two in here, have an extreme hatred of multiboxing and multiboxers in general.

but hey maybe i’m just weird for not being particularly fond of being called scum,I don’t know how anyone can have a ‘‘debate’’ when one side starts with ‘‘these people over here are scum and should be shunned from society’’ but i digress, they want them banned fair isn’t on the table here.

they could also disable /follow in general, but then you can still multibox/dual box you just have to tab between windows,or the whole 1 button hits everybody’s 1 thing.

Disabling follow would also hurt regular players, especially those with vision impairments who rely upon follow to help then get around.

Is this about the software? It doesn’t work the way you seem to think it does.

Good multiboxers haven’t relied on follow for a long time.

I get the distinct feeling the fanatics who push for people to be banned for it couldn’t care less if it effects a small % of people so long as it fixes their problem.

The main complaint with gathering is Zin’anthid. And the problem with that is how it was implemented. Changing things wouldn’t help very much with Zin’anthid, it would still suck to farm.

Also? Each account is being played manually. That’s how it works.

what about people with better internet connections? They pay more money so they have better ping.

Cheaters.

insane, absolutely unhinged insanity

so… multiboxers are to blame because people don’t understand how the auction house works?

A highly successful troll effort, OP, but I do not think these are difficult boards to troll.

I meant the type of undercutting aka posting it on the same price after you post it and get priority since the system is clearly not first in first out.

When you have a 2nd monitor with your bank alt from your 2nd account checking the AH for undercuts/later posts every 5 minute while you play on your main on the other monitor then a person who does not have 2 monitors and 2 accounts is at a disadvantage because they cant be 24/7 next to the AH to check.

No need for a second account for that.
Many people keep an eye on their auctions while using a computer for other purposes - even working.

Most people continually undercutting you are getting on with everyday life at the same time as listening out for auction alerts. That’s why they can do it so consistently.

So you can make your next thread about banning people who use the auction house for a change.

Oh i do the same all the time when im not doing stuff, that is how I have a lot of gold, but even that is not enough considering the moment you actually go do something you get instantly undercut/later posted.

You often see the same name, and when the same keeps undercutting from morning to night for DAYS then clearly that person is either not playing wow and only playing AH or just has a 2nd monitor with a 2nd account that checks while playing the game normally on his main account/monitor.

so… nothing to do with mb’s.
got it.

at least the mobile AH was nuked.
personally, i had more of an issue with people being able to access auctions while not logged into the game.

I think you misunderstand my post.

We have seen these types of post so often, it has become a wway of trolling. They all use the same baseless accusations against multi boxing.

You are right. It isn’t unfair gameplay when a 1v5 situation happens… but these trolls continue to use it as an excuse because they refuse to see a MB as 5 characters. They seem them as one player and make assumptions off of that.

I figured using “troll points” as a metric would make it obvious. In this case, 3 of the excuses where used.

I’ve turned it into a game. 1 point for every excuse that has been shot down in countless previous threads.

But it’s not a fair market, and it has never been claimed that it’s supposed to be. I think the word you’re looking for is free. It’s a free market.

If I go out with nine guildies to farm herbs, and they all hand everything over to me, that’s cheating, huh? Ten players on ten characters, all the mats going to one single player. According to you, that’s cheating.

Sorry, what? You do realize Blizzard makes $20 for every account that pays for game time with gold, right? Dumb question, of course you don’t.
