Boxing will likely never be banned, it’s been allowed in the TOS almost since the beginning. What they need to do is change/remove multiple use resource nodes and disallow boxers from running more than one instance at a time. It’s really getting ridiculous how much loot they can farm in a relatively short time.
That being said though it’s nowhere near as bad as on Classic. Can’t hardly turn around on a populated server there without running into one.

Many people includes more than about a handful complaining on GD. Literal MILLIONS of people UNSUBBED in WoD, that made blizz make some changes, but not your whine threads.

So if 5 players fly around together and gather the same node and pool all their resources are they cheating? Should they all be banned?

It’s the end of the expansion. People are dumping their soon-to-be piles of junk materials. I bet that’s a bigger driver of prices dropping than multiboxers.

Eh, yes and no. But still, this is more likely than Multiboxing.
(Some items lose value simply because; they are no longer valuable. Can’t keep charging 50g for Zin’anthid if nobody is buying it. Hence, falling prices.)
I make more gold from having over 70 120’s than,I get from multiboxing.

So here’s the deal. The price on items in the AH fluctuate for a huge number of factors. From stock not being bought up to botters to players all dumping materials on holiday or pandemic vacations, etc, etc. There are a lot of influencing factors here.
You’re blaming what amounts to a tiny sub group of players for something that is far larger in scope. As I tell people all the time sharding has given you an illusion of how prominent multiboxing is. That you exist on a shard with a multiboxer doesn’t give you a true account of how many other players are in the same zones farming mats with you. It could be hundreds in fact but because they exist on other shards you wouldn’t know.
FYI multiboxers always pull their teams into the same shard because unlike botters, multiboxers cannot function without /follow and having the team on the same shard. Botters can exist on an infinite number of shards because AI controls their actions.

why aren’t people rallying for mages monks DKs Warlocks as well as hunters and basically any mechagnome to be banned after all they each possess the ability to spawn or call for assistance that operates solely on their own therefore they are technically botting according to the same people that claim multiboxers are cheating

It’s almost like Blizzard has a set of rules and will punish people for breaking those rules. And guess what? Multiboxing falls on the side of “not breaking rules”.
And all the silly “it’s about the money” nonsense needs to be buried down a deep dark hole and never mentioned again. Activision-Blizzard makes billions of dollars a year. Just how many multiboxers are out there that you think Bobby Kotick cares one little bit about that extra income?

Prove it. You’re talking about a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the total number of people playing the game. I’m willing to bet that the biggest factor in tanking prices is that it’s the end of the expansion. The world first race is done. The demand part of “supply and demand” has diminished significantly.

I multibox. I have been farming solo for speed last few months. I haven’t come close to getting longboi by undercutting either.
