No one is stopping you from paying more accounts, whats the difference if one guy is paying for 5 accounts and multi boxing or 5 individual people grouping up to do the same thing? Multi boxing has been round for ever it’s not going anywhere.

I honestly think multi boxers are at least one of four things.
- Gold farmers
- People with too much IRL money.
- People who are lonely AF
- People who can’t form social attachments.
I remember working with a guy who only only played solo and had two accounts he would multi box. I talked to him about it and my own train of thought on progress in a MMO. After that he quit playing the game.
All I really said to asked him was why have a single character dedicated to a single aspect of the game. I mean if he had a Blood DK he would only tank on that character. If he wanted an unholy character he would make an entire new character for that. I guess I illustrated that he was completely wasting his time and money by doing that. And he knew it. I mean why play a mmo, be the only person in your guild, interact with no one, and have a small army of guys that impresses no one, when you can just play a really good single player game.
But it’s their money and time to waste if they want. I’m sure there are some really niche players who multibox in order to pay for their subs, a strange rabbit hole, or even raid repairs.

Pretty much this. I don’t see what’s wrong with multiboxing if someone wants to actually play like they’re playing five characters and not just using them as extensions of their main.
yes and that is why blizzard change the way node were , but taking advantage of a loop hole that has been put in place to fix it doesn’t make it right.

If you look hard enough, you’ll find a blue post basically stating personal attacks and conspiracy theories have become the reason they avoid theses threads. I think you need some crayons. Multibox is where some dude controls more than 1 character at the same time either on the same setup, or with multiple PC’s. This has nothing to do with botting, nothing illegal here, nothing wrong with me wanting to have 2 or more accounts at the same time.
I do it myself, I run legacy raids with 2 characters on separate licences on the same account, double my chance at getting loot, mounts and pets.
Botting is where someone uses a third party program to automate everything they do, it can be done with multibox’s, it can be done solo. That is illegal.
What makes this illegal is the use of third party apps that control your character. That does not include addons where you still need to press a button to make your character do something.
This also means someone who is using a third party app to control your 2 or more characters at the same time is doing something wrong, not because they are multiboxing, but because they are using a third party app to do it.
How is multiboxing p2w lol, What’s pay to win is people paying other people to carry them and give them loot which lot of people seem to do but I don’t see you complaining about that. Seems very selective, Multiboxing is allowed and legal you will just have to get over it.

Buying a carry doesn’t necessitate that you buy gold, whereas multiboxing at least requires someone else to foot the bill, which is more of a problem with tokens but that’s another thread.
I report every single one of them hate looking at them all, its clearly stated to report them if they advertise
