This has been posted before… but players cannot compete with addons such as Enchanter. Myself and others can’t earn tip fees for profession services because players who are AFK in cities auto whisper/invite others before my 3 second delayed message gets ignored. Also can’t possibly send an invite faster than the addon. Get rid of these things… They break profession interaction game play.

id agree with this tbh, annoying to take the time to whisper him you can help him then to get a whisper back he found someone already in barely less than 5 second it took me to whisper him!
Then I /target them and i look at who they are trading. -.- The damn Enchanter parked afk watching netflix infront the AH with the nice automated whisper that he got your enchant and he can so kindly help you.

dont get me wrong i dont like those kind of addons but classic has become a hyper capitalistic nightmare where literally everything is for sale
so you either use them or fall behind… for now

Seems like a lot of effort for a problem that will only exist for another 4-6 months.
I love the auto invite. Makes finding enchants so easy.
This is not an addon.
It is Weak Auras.
And it only works because Blizzard has an API they can use.
Blizzard has to disable that API.

I just ignore those personally, and decline their group invites. 
It has also been made into an addon called “Enchanter” its on curseforge and whispers enchanting mats and auto invites when someone says they are looking for an enchant.
Its both a standalone addon and a weakaura.
Addon release was Sep 17th 2021 according to curseforge.
Truly automation of any kind should be straight up banned.

The problem with automation is that its always abused.

There’s nothing wrong with sending invites if someone whispers you “inv”
Should always require the player actually do something otherwise its just botting.
I mean, whatever you want to call it I guess.
It’s worked like that since day one though ctraid assist did it back in vanilla
These add-ons are cancer because it completely eliminates your competition with no work involved. It’s also why I don’t wisper people who are looking for enchants, you can’t beat the addon, its awful.
Just like bots, you just have to live with it, but doesn’t mean I’m ever going to like it.
At least those add ons are actually useful.
What really needs to be banned are the auto guild invite addons, they’re pure spam with no value. There is no reason for that functionality to be exposed to the scripting API.
I don’t understand the point of them in a world without the cata guild perks.
Only for another few months
It’s against TOS, just have as many people report the player as possible.
