Bald man protests against bots

You don’t get it guys. Those 20 boomkins were actually all real players all running in the exact same pattern for hours and hours.

Reporting bots is NOT harassment. Stop defending botting in WoW.

Ironic coming from the guy defending botting.

The community doesnt need anyone for that, its toxic on its own, just like with just about any community in gaming.

who cares about e-celebs

Not defending botting. I’ve said multiple times my stance.

This video is funny coming from a guy who gets carried by his viewers (given gear, millions of gold, etc), and can summon hundreds of players instantly to do his bidding in game.

Ironic.

Asmongold shouldn’t invite his viewers into the same area just to mass report. This caused server instability and he knows that. The only thing he should have done is report and move on. IMO blizzard needs to enforce that policy more and punish streamers who do large gatherings just to protest.

Youre just here to spread hate to Asmon, and ignoring the fact that he is bringing awareness of the issue by doing what he did.

For someone who claims to be against botting you arent making a good case for yourself.

It’s clear that you have no idea what harassment is or how it works. Harassment doesn’t need to be violent.

Harassment is how a negative action is performed, it’s a description. There are no 2 things to be different.

Harassment is repeated aggressive pressure or intimidation.

Awareness? Wow has had a botting problem since it came out. Blizzard does their part in removing bots but it’s not an easy task. Would you rather them make new content or spend their time banning bots? They do both but their resources are most spent on making new content for the game.

do you think it’s the same department doing both?

bro we’ve known about the botting problem for years. all asmongolds doing is trying 2 get viewers

No idea, but i, pretty positive more resources are spent making content than having employees banning bots.

He wasn’t referring to the bots. Nice cherry picking of his statements.

He wasn’t. You’re cherry picking his statements to make him look bad, because most people don’t read everything someone writes.

Look, if you can’t “win” the argument, just admit it and hit the bricks.

Not everyone knows about botting, specially newer players.

It shows spots Bots are often found, making easier to ban them.

Blizzard doesn’t have what it takes (and/or the desire) to stop BOT’s; otherwise it wouldn’t still be an issue. I’ve personally reported the same BOT’s over, and over, and over again and they’re still at it today - this very moment. Incompetence.

oh yeah oops letting new players know about the botting epidemic that’s plagued the game since time eternal is rlly turning the tide thanks

You sound like one of those idiots that say “there’s no Corona Virus” just because you haven’t caught it yet.

You and Asmon should just get a room already. You’re really upset about your fave streamer being criticized.

Asmongold isn’t quite bald yet, but he is malding. I watched his stream today. All he did was get mad at bots while server hopping. A bit later his group was trying to summon the Violet Mistake, but a Horde player kept sabotaging the mix. That part was pretty great.

Haha, IKR!! I remember back in vanilla, how Mulgore and Crossroads would be full of bots gathering peacebloom and selling it on the AH making a killing.
