Bald man protests against bots

nobody needs to have “real proof”.

as players, all we need is suspicion.

blizzard encourage player to report suspicious activity.

Bots aren’t putting mats on the AH, they are farming raw gold.

Bottom line, you can report and Blizzard can look into it. My problem lies with Asmongold enabling his followers to crash the server by having a protest party in the middle of populated area. He should have just reported and moved on, not enable people to potentially break ToS by degrading services. But I guess he needs content to feed viewers like yourself.

Yeah, looks like another jar of worms. All these bots - they are paying for sub and xpack. Then, people are buying tokens to exchange them for gold from bots. RMT didn’t go away, just Blizzard now getting its cut.

Pretty sure I’ve seen bots running around (usually a mountable druid and a rider), picking flowers and mining ore.

If you can manage to control 50 druids in perfect sync, THEN I’ll believe you and take your word for it ahahahaha.

  • Twochainz sees 50 druids moving in perfect sync, walinkg a perfect path without errors, spamming the same spells over and over without any human interaction or imperfection
  • also Twochainz: wow! These guys are good!!

That remind me, people used the zombie plague to screw over a bot:

Yes, they do, through efficiency. They have 4x (or more) the opportunity for materials, loot, gold.

Me playing my 1 character loots 3.5g from a mob. Boxer loots 14g.
Me: hits a node for qty 2. Boxer: gets anywhere from 4-16.
Me: loots 1-3 common cloth. Boxer: loots from 4-12.

Boxers also have that 4x (or more) green/blue/epic chance, zone drop item chance, etc.

That’s really the only reason I don’t particularly feel boxing is fair to other players.

At least boxers are playing the content.

except he didnt crash the server. so whats the problem?

When you say “fun 4 characters” do you mean as in “fully equip”?

Well, if blizzard’s servers can’t handle a raid of people that were doing nothing save for sitting down without crashing, then they have some serious issue there ahahah.

There’s a documentary out there with Ion explaining that it’s simply not possible to have servers that can handle the amount of players/actions that happen all at once. They’ve looked into this many times without a solid solution. Just gotta wait until technology can handle it at some point. The age of the game is also not helping. It’s not like they’ve not tried to fix this problem, technology just isn’t there yet.

actions like… using the /kneel emote once?

Oh technology is there, Ashes of Creation will be having 250v250 battles and they want to push that to 500v500. The real issue is how WoW is coded and all the calculations that servers have to handle that causes all the lag. Ashes did their apocalypse game on steam to test if their code could handle it and they found it couldn’t so they tore it down and built it back up once they discovered where the issues were at. WoW is so old that’s not even remotely a viable solution so we’re pretty much stuck with high levels of lag when to many people are in a zone. I wish it weren’t so as massive WoW battles could be so much fun.

Blizz will be first company to test quantum computing :star_struck:

Did that with the zombies and botters on my server. It was delicious. I’m sorry that the zombies are gone!

Isn’t AoC the game where they made that Battle Royal mode? IS that what apocalypse was?

I’ll be honest I forgot AoC was a thing until just now.
