Just curious - how do ya’ll feel about this new balancing patch? Are there things we’re missing regarding Rogues that aren’t being addressed?
At first glance, for PvP at least - are there any changes we would’ve liked to see for Subtley for example? As someone who predominantly plays PvP, I felt the Black Powder damage buff is irrelevant, but is there something else that the specc’d could have improvements on?
Interested in your thoughts.

Seems blizzard is having issues. Incompetency issues. They nerf only to give some back. A lot of hot headed people I’m assuming. They need to learn to let things settle before nerfing/buffing to avoid things like this.

BlizZard looks at the data they can import into a mdoel, but they also look at performance. Performance doesn’t always match data that is used to create a model. So that is why they are flip flopping so much with tuning changes for Rogues.
Is the Rogue class OP or is it because the very few players left are the elite of the elite playing and able to squeeze blood out of a turnip to deliver damage?

It exists. I don’t think it’s going to change much of anything, maybe make life easier for Subtlety so that someone will play it.
Other than that, I have no idea why these specific changes are being made. Thistle Tea and Echoing Reprimand are now passive. 'Kay Blizzard, but that’s not really addressing the problems.
They outright buffed Crackshot because they won’t bother to fix stealth issues. Coup De Grace now actually works, but Killing Spree is still a major thorn. GCD refresh is too sluggish. Adrenaline Rush feels less like a major CD and more like a maintenance buff.
It makes you wonder who these changes were for.

Please tell me this is a joke, right? Because, the state of the class as a whole is pretty rough, and literally none of the patching is fixing this.
I mean, just to start, there’s a bug in Outlaw that’s multiple years old. It got infinitely worse with the rework to add crackshot, and has come back with a vengeance after being fixed for like 3 month.
It is still plaguing the class after over a month of hotfixes (almost none of them being Rogue related). It’s a non-optional talent. It’s 20%+ of our damage profile. And it randomly just decides “I’m not working during this Vanish window, get bent.”
The change to BTE on PTR does not fix this issue. It Band-Aids the problem, and will lead to a hilarious sequence of events where you will Vanish>BTE (breaks/maybe consumed CD)>Vanish #2>BTE (breaks/maybe consumed CD)> proceed to instant depression and tank damage for 30 seconds while struggling to regain a Vanish charge. And sometimes, Vanish #3 will also break and leave you looking stupid.
Stealth still breaks constantly to things that just shouldn’t do it. PVP is a metric headache to do because of the random moments of being destealthed for zero reason in a key moment.
Outlaw target cap is, once again, leaving us pretty much useless on the apex of content. The moment a pull exceeds 8 targets, we immediately become less useful than just bringing an Enhance Sham or Feral Druid now, and since they bring class buffs, and brez or lust, we have zero place in “cutting-edge” content.
One of our hero trees literally can’t be used on the first Mythic fight. And the other one for Outlaw has to lose the DPS from Killing Spree to even attempt the fight, as the skill will instantly lead to a stun almost every time. Killing spree needs to be killed off and sent to the same place Sylvanas is currently stuck until they can do something actually useful with it.
And to address the actual balance “patch”, giving me back 85% of something you took away from me and then spitting in my face by buffing a talent that was put in a bad spot and can’t be used due to a ridiculous amount of other required talents? An actual insult to the players.
