Balancing 144 different playstyles

MoP was a pretty great balance for me.

MoP was what I considered the most enjoyable rotations for most classes and specs for me.

I felt like some classes were still over powered even then.

hahahaaha dude.

Warlocks was broken in MoP. You was able to solo most content, it was great.

People just want to know which combo sims the best. They may not play it, they just want to know.

“Good” is a matter of perspective. If you are OP then some folks feel that is “good”.

The general population looks at Balance as I do X and the other class does Y and they should be equal for “balance” and that is not how the developers see balance as they have explained multiple times. Hunters and Warriors will never be equal or “balanced” against one another.

Yet Blizzard is the ONLY determinate of whether things are properly balanced, that the community complains about things does not mean they are not balanced or that they don’t mean work.

Being self sufficient for once isnt what I would consider broken.

Wish people would get over wanting to play the best possible sim combo. It honestly is very frustrating to know the game has to be balanced around those people.

I don’t agree. Every knows there isn’t “good” balance in the game.

I mean… I guess. But my warlock was soloing at-level dungeons. There is a difference between self sufficient and well. Just broken. I was damn near able to solo raids, except they all had mechanics which required a group for.

Plenty of people can do that at the end of every xpac.

This was early MoP. Wasn’t even the end of the expac. Our talents and voidlord was just that powerful.

Doubts…

i suspect there’s more variation in my ability to play differrent classses than there is in the actual power of the classes.

(But I’m also not trying to push competitive content, so I don’t need to git gud)

Look, I don’t get paid like I said… I don’t have to think “how to fix this and that” I just leave what’s wrong with their product on my eyes.

There’s many people working at their HQ to figure it out, it’s simple… it doesnt matter about kayne or twitter or anything…

I am assuming you mean everyone…but you don’t speak for everyone. So that is by definition a false statement.

Again, Blizzard is the only determinate of what is balanced. If that means that Orctang is balanced but gets smashed in whatever choice of content he plays, then you are balanced by their terms. Your opinion matters for feedback as long as you make succinct strong points, if your total argument is

That is a non-starter and will get ignored by Blizzard.

Doubt all you want, all you had to do was use your voidlord, and have the talents which made it so your damage healed the void lord and a couple others. I would need to look at the old tree again to remember the exact ones I took. But the blue berry was undefeatable.

Again, this is wrong. If this was the case they would not adjust things after complaints by the community of overwhelming unbalance.

Hence why i said what i said. Blizzard makes the changes based on feedback. They decide what is balanced to THEIR CRITERIA and consider feedback along the way. They determine if something needs to be nerfed or buffed and that is the only time it happens. The community makes their feedback known but they don’t have to change things to meet the communities feedback and have chosen that route many many times.

You are still wrong. They don’t base balance only on their simulations on what everything should be like.

Well let me know when someone other then Blizzard makes changes to balance. Until then you can say i am wrong all you want…but it will and always has been ONLY Blizzard that makes changes.
