I didn’t repeat everything. Dont make assumptions. My old account was lost in the transition from user names to bnet. I never had much on it.
Questioning = harassing?
A weak response. You can do better.
You’re comparing it to something that’s always been account wide. And, again, if “it hurts no one” and “one time should earn it account wide” are the rules then the rest I described needs to happen as well.
Balance of power has no effect on player power or progression. Its purely cosmetic for mogging. Making a mog account wide is perfectly acceptable.
oh I see - so my point was valid after all.
You had no point. You made an assumption.
Exactly. Lots of things have changed over the years. There were people who got their Druid flight form a few times back in the day— like me. I’m not complaining that it was changed.
I had to grind out Cloud Serpent training multiple times. I cheered when that was changed.
Making BoP account wide isn’t any different. To think there are people who would be mad that they earned something and can use it now on alts is just mind boggling to me.
LOL not surprising. And let’s look back at “reading the whole thread,” too!
OP’s post: 51 likes.
Marla’s opinion: 3 likes.
Ivan’s reply in opposition to Marla: 56 likes.
The number of users who have participated: 41.
The number of people who don’t want it account bound in this thread: 9.
See above.
Or I can just never do it again at all, because BoP isn’t fun design.
No mounts have Covenant restrictions. Very few have class restrictions.
No, their problem is that their argument is nonsense. They don’t want it account wide because it’s good content, but apparently it’s not good enough to do it over and over if they don’t get a reward for it. They failed their own argument.
As are all of their arguments.
Cloud Serpent flying wasn’t account wide. No one raged over that being made account wide.
And while we all spent a crap ton of time getting Pathfinder done, it was made obsolete because everyone gets flying in Warlords and Legion now. No one raged over that.
You missed the point.
Likes in a thread are representative of people who came to a thread and expressed agreement, not “the rest of us”. It’s irrelevant, regardless, because what the rest of us want doesn’t directly dictate decisions in this way.
That’s your prerogative. Much of WoW isn’t actually fun design, but we do it because we want the reward.
Legion class mounts are all class restricted, and some are even spec restricted. My mistake on the Covenant-restricted mounts, I thought those such as Battle Gargon Silessa were restricted. The point stands that not all mounts are account wide. The class and spec-based appearance system in Legion revolved around class- and spec-specific appearances that needed to be unlocked accordingly.
Pathfinder was always account wide, and isn’t analogous, regardless. And who is raging?
Sure.
I think it was more about the “free flying” feature starting with SL, where you got flying for free in MoP, WoD and Legion if you haven’t done it yet.
I literally just told you how it’s relevant. I also gave another example you chose to ignore. Kind of like how you choose to ignore anything that doesn’t fit your narrative.
We’re allowed our opinions. But if you’re not even going to listen to the other side, then there’s no reason to continue the conversation.
And I literally just told you why it’s not.
Cloud Serpent Riding? Again, if you’re going to ignore distinct differences between these things in favor of simplistic rules then you have to allow what I’ve previously described regarding dungeons and raids. And you probably don’t want to play the “chose to ignore” card here.
I’ve listened to your argument. I’m not insulting you. I’ve described my disagreement. I’ve stood my ground as have you. Aside from just agreeing with you what in the world am I supposed to do that won’t earn your derision?
I’m going to withdraw here. I’m not raging or trying to insult anyone, and I’m not going to lose my mind if BoP goes account wide. I’m neutral or supportive of the broad collection of arguments for changes to legacy content, but BoP falls outside my view of that collection given its design, unique rewards that are unlocked class-wide, context within the Legion framework, and relative ease to acquire today.
That’s it.
what a silly summary - you get a lot of likes from your discord - that means nothing except you have friends that will support anything
heck I have three accounts and 80 characters - if we want to judge by likes I can make my likes go up pretty fast.
You do because you’re lazy. Most of us do not. Imagine complaining about having to play the game
Yes classic was set up that way, however, we are far far far past classic these days. Retail is not the same game as classic and therefore doesnt need to be held to the same outdated standards.
Like i said, you want that type of playstyle, go to classic, its there for a reason. However, it no longer fits in retail.
Lmfao now its considered lazy when you have already done it on countless characters but you refuse to needlessly buff blizz’s #timeplayed by doing it on anymore toons?
Whatever you say white knighter.
It is hard for you to count to 12?
12 horde, 12 ally.
Or do i need to do it for you.
you claimed you couldn’t count the ones you did it on
This thread says otherwise. So do the conversations that have been happening since Legion about it.
Is it “lazy” that people get the PvP achievement and all of those artifact appearances are account wide? Nope. Same goes for BoP.
This whole “laziness” insult is just belittling and not a real argument. But it’s all you people have, because there’s no real argument against something that doesn’t affect you.
Oh I have to bite at this troll attempt. LOLOLOL
Literally no one from that server has liked this thread except me. Half of them don’t even play this game anymore. Nor do they ever talk about this place.
You people think you’re so important to a bunch of others who left this forum. Guess what? You’re not. No one cares to talk about this place, or you, or stage whatever conspiracy theory you come up with. You’re not even a blip on anyone’s radar. All you’ve done is proven why people don’t like this place and found a better spot to talk about life and pokemon without the toxicity and insanity around here.
The complete ridiculousness you just attempted is astounding. I’m just going to sit here and roll my eyes and laugh over the fact that you even thought this was somehow a clever post to make.
You’ve once again proven that a real conversation with you is impossible. Good job!
